- Atlantic Bar
- The Atlantic Bar is known as a true VIP hotspot in Hamburg. Several times it happened to be that famous music stars - usually after their shows - enjoyed the end of the day with a drink at the Atlantic Bar and gave "Concerts for free" to the other guests. Some years ago it occurred that Phil Collins played the grand piano and even responded to the guests' music wishes. The Atlantic Bar features Art dco and architectural fragments of the turn of the century. Barkeeper Enrico Wilhelm does not only know the recipes of some 200 cocktails by heart, but is also an expert, when it comes to classic cocktails.

- The Chinese restaurant Tsao Yang" (Chinese for Rising Sun) is unique in Germany regarding ambience and cuisine. Opened in June 2003, it offers genuine Chinese cuisine in stylish ambiance and is regarded as one of Hamburg's top addresses when it comes to Asian restaurants. Tsao Yang seats 75 guests and up to 25 guests in private dining rooms. The Feng Shui based interior design creates an atmosphere of harmony and well-being. A blend of light colours and red elements stamp the ambience as much as the unique view of lake Alster and the open kitchen. Amongst the specialities of Chef Zou Zong Vong and his team are the original Peking Style Roast Duck as well as the finest dishes from Canton, Szechuan and Peking. Besides the la carte menu, "Tsao Yang" provides a light lunch dish. The wine list emphasises wines of Germany, France, Spain and Italy. "Tsao Yang" offers complimentary Valet Parking service.

Great comfort and relaxation
My husband and I recommend this hotel to anyone who really wants to relax. The service is so good that you can forget the everyday matters and the luxury room was...full of luxury! Location isn't bad either, only about 500 metres from the main railway station and all the services. However, the lake view is over a street - window towards the inner yard was more silent.

If you want to enjoy a good dinner, head to the hotel restaurant. The service is excellent, the lobster soup and beefs are just great.

Excellent high end lodging
The staff were very accommodating. The renovations are well done. The location provides good access to shopping, good restaurants and town center.

Absolutely Great!!!!!!!!!!!
If you go to Hamburg, you just got to go here. Incredible. Too crazy so well we feel. Second time here in 5 months, and we will come again, and more often.

As an old client that had given up on The Atlantic, I was pleasantly surprised that most renovation is completed (although some command parts of the lobby, restaurants are a bit dated). So, it is back to its old glory and also back to some overpriced items (such as breakfast).
