Ascot Hotel Copenhagen

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L'hôtel est situé près du parc de Tivoli, de la gare Central et du centre ville. Si vous ne souhaitez pas marcher longtemps, l'hôtel vous propose ses vélos, cela est très pratique dans cette ville où le vélo règne. Situé en face d'une salle de concert, le samedi soir vous entendrez sans doute un peu de bruit et et l'hôtel n'est pas du tout accessible aux handicapés.

Hôtel très bien positionné, proche du centre ville, propre et chambre confortable. Environnement un peu bruyant pour les personnes abituées à dormir au calme (ne nous a personnellement pas gênés pour très bien dormir!)

Hôtel très bien situé, en plein centre ville : bonne literie et très peu de bruit. Surtout ne pas consommer au bar de l'hôtel, c'est excessivement cher.... Bon séjour au Danemark!!

For a 4star hotel the bed was horrible, it was so soft (the body was sinking in the bed, not good for anybody especially not for sleepers on the belly) plus the pillow was so hard and round like a ball that you cannot sleep and relax at all, pollow was inflated by artificial fabrics. When we asked if it's possible to bring us a softer pollow, the answer was: "...sorry, it's not possible". Breakfast was ok, bot far from brilliant or great. Quality was good but all self serviced in a big hall, felling like in a train station plus quing on the soluble coffee automat. So price value proposition can be massivle improved.

Wij hebben in feb 2012 twee nachten doorgebracht in het Ascot. Een ideale uitvalsbasis om Kopenhagen te ontdekken. Op loopafstand van het centraal station en het Centrum. Het hotel is als klassiek en degelijk te bestempelen. Daarover geen klachten. De kamer was ruim en het tweepersoonsbed prima. Er was zelf een kleine keuken en een koelkast in de kamer aanwezig. Personeel aan de balie was adequaat en snel. Via het hotel hebben we ook fietsen kunnen huren. Een prima verblijf dus dat we anderen ook aan kunnen raden. Het enige minpunt, en dat geldt voor de kamers aan de achterkant: er wordt 's morgens vroeg al vrij veel lawaai gemaakt buiten door leveranciers en andere werkzaamheden. Dus als je licht slaapt is dat iets om rekening mee te houden. Hou dan in ieder geval de ramen dicht.

Within an easy walk from the Copenhagen Central Train Station, the Hotel Ascot is a good deal. I was traveling with my two adult daughters. The hotel lobby is very attractive, but room we had was spare - little furniture or decorations or charm. However, it was extremely comfortable. Bedding for two in one room, for one in the other, plus a long shelf-like desk, made the room work well. And while our room faced the street, it was very quiet at night. The large Danish breakfast, with lots of choices, was another major asset. We would recommend it; it was very convenient and comfortable, but visitors should be warned that the rooms themselves are rather ordinary, less charming than you might want in a country where so much is beautiful.

I went to a conference at the Copenhagen Business School. From the hotel I was able to walk for 10 minutes to the metro station and from there take a direct train to CBS which is only four stops away. The central train station is even closer (5 minute walk). The hotel is very centrally located. It is a 10 minute walk from the main pedestrian shopping street. Although the room was small (it was a small single room), it was clean and comfortable with free wifi, a small fridge, and a sink. Breakfast was included in the (very reasonable) price and it was a wonderful buffet with freshly cut and appetizing fruit (every day different), a variety of wonderful breads, cheeses, cold meats, salmon, etc. It is a short taxi ride from the airport (15-20 minutes) and one can also use the metro to and from the airport. The staff was helpful and courteous, and everyone spoke English. I will consider staying at the Ascot hotel in future visits to Copenhagen.

Hyvä sijainti sekä hyvä ja siisti hotelli.

ein recht nettes Hotel, mit nicht sehr einladender Lobby. Die Zimmer eher klein, aber freundlich und sauber. Lage zentral, dennoch in ruhiger Seitengasse. Parkmöglichkeiten O, in Kopenhagen sehr teuer. Das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig, gut.

The Ascot is like stepping backward in time, It has a wonderful staff and we would stay there again
