Général
Le Schweizerhof Bâle possède une salle de conférence. Pendant votre temps libre, n'oubliez pas de visiter le jardin botanique de Bâle, le Rhin, le musée historique de Bâle et le zoo de la ville.
Annulation sans frais jusqu'à 16h00 le jour d'arrivée. Les personnes qui n'annulent pas dans ces délais seront facturées la première nuit (sauf le petit déjeuner et la taxe de séjour).
Parking de 5 places devant l'hôtel pour la clientèle du Schweizerhof. Vous ne pouvez pas les réserver. Sur la base du "premier arrivé, premier servi". Le personnel de la réception pourra vous réserver une place au parking à proximité, au Centralbahn-Parking (tarif réduit de CHF 23.-- par nuit).

- The Hotel Schweizerhof Basel offers 82 rooms in the categories Business, Economy, Ambiente and Fitness. All rooms were totally refurbished in 2006 and 2009. Bright rooms, warm colours and the walnut parquet lend the rooms a cosy feel.
All rooms are provided with extra-long 210 cm beds, Loewe flat screen SAT-TV, individually adjustable air conditioning,
spacious working area, direct dial telephone (internal and external), W-LAN, coffee and tea maker as well as a complimentary safe.
The spacious, well-lit bathrooms have a generously-sized shower area or a bathtub (Ambiente category), hair dryer, scales and body care products by Yves Rocher.
Free non-alcoholic drinks in your room and from complementary bars on 3 floors, free local telephone calls, a business corner with free Internet access and the option to have breakfast served 24 hours a day, are other foundation stones of the Schweizerhof service concept. - ECONOMY
- The 15 economy rooms are reasonably priced, a little smaller, yet bright, comfortable and fully-furnished single rooms ranging from 17 - 20 m2. With 140 x 210 cm beds, you can be sure of a convenient night's sleep. The 3 - 4 m2 bathrooms are equipped with a shower, WC, hair dryer, scales and care products from Yves Rocher.
- BUSINESS
- The 46 business rooms form the hotel's standard category. These are spacious, bright rooms ranging from 20 - 25 m2 in area. Furnished with double or twin beds (160 x 210 cm or 2 x 90 x 210 cm) they can be used as single or double rooms. The 4 - 5 m2 bathrooms are equipped with a spacious shower area, WC, hair dryer, scales and care products from Yves Rocher.
- SUPERIOR
- The 18 Ambiente rooms together with the 3 Fitness rooms form the hotel's superior category. They offer a superior room size of 26 - 35 m2. Furnished with twin beds (2 x 90 x 210 cm) they can be used as single or double rooms. Thanks to their size, most Ambiente rooms can also be prepared as comfortable 3-bed rooms. The Ambiente rooms have a cosy seating area consisting of two or three armchairs or a sofa. The unusual floor plans of these rooms allow individual furnishing. With 6 - 8 m2 of floor area, the bathrooms offer plenty of space. They are equipped with a bathtub, WC, scales, hairdryer and care products by Yves Rocher. Bathrobes, the unique Schweizerhof flip-flops, bubble bath salts and flower-shaped bath balls contribute to bathing comfort.

Great Experience
Staff was extremely helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location. Convenient to train station, trams and Old Town. Be sure that the breakfast buffet is included in your room price.

Great Location but beware
50 Bus goes right to the hotel from airport so incredibly convenient. Websites [...] make it seem as if the "sumptious breakfast buffet" is included but only if you book on a more expensive site or directly for more. Otherwise it is a $30/person fast food affair. Charge extra for eggs. When I discussed misleading internet info, manager did agree to add breakfast but was not very gracious. I told him I would pay for it but he said "if you will be upset we will include it otherwise no". Noise from nextdoor train station is constant all night. If you are jetlagged, dont need the window open and take a sleeping pill, you will probable do ok. Despite the negatives, decent value. Expect noise and no breakfast. I would email them and try to get a room on the city side and clarification about the food prior to travel.

Wonderful Experience
The location was great - very central. The hotel itself, though historic, was chic, modern and very clean. The floors were parquet, the feather beds and down pillows made for a great night's sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good ammenities - free passes for the public transportation, free mini bar for non-alcoholic beverages & they brought us coffee at 4 AM (when we had to leave). I would highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location,especially when you have arrived after a long rail journey from the UK.The staff were very welcoming.I would definately stay there again when travelling to Switzerland.

"Not bad in Basel"
I was only in Basel for one night. I choose this hotel because of the price and it's closeness to the main train station. It gave me easy access to the city trams and buses. The staff was friendly, but did forget to inform me that breakfast was an additional charge, something I didn't find out until after I'd started eating. I received a Mobility Ticket at the hotel which allows you to ride the trams and buses for free during your stay. They also provided a mini-pop out map that was quite handy. I had an economy room for my stay. It was a good size room for one person with a modern bathroom. And most important, it was clean. There wasn't a mini-bar in the room, but down the hall you had access to one with free non-alcoholic drinks. Guest also had free use of two computers. I thought the breakfast was over priced for what it was and wouldn't have gotten it had I know there was a charge for it. All in all I was happy with my stay. If I ever return to Basel, I would consider this hotel, but would also consider others.
