Nettes Hotel in der Nähe des Bahnhofes.

The room was small, which is pretty normal for lower priced hotel rooms in France. Yet, it was also old, run-down, and not very clean. The small, uncomfortable mattresses were held up by a ledge on the wall and some wobbly legs. There were no proper security locks on the door and no sound-damping, so street noise could also be an issue. The only redeemable features of this hotel were price (though I still feel I payed too much), location (right next to a tram line with easy access to centre ville and the gare), and a friendly staff.

L'Hotel est bien situe. Pas d'Internet dans les chambres. Uniquement au Hall par session de 1Heure. La salle de bains est tres limite. La douche dedans est difficille.

What more do you need than somewhere cheap and basic to get your head down and leave your stuff. After all I was here for the football and experience in the city not the room. Hotel room was basic but clean, tidy and comfortable. The shower was excellent. The staff were helpful and as long as you say bonjour, merci and au revoir they'll appreciate the effort. The tram stop is right outside the front door and you can get a day ticket for less than 5 Euros. The station is a 5 minute walk (well it might be 6 minutes but you get what I mean).

I had to get a room the same day, and the large majority of the hotels listed on the travel site were sold out. My choices were low end or high end - nothing available in the middle. All I really needed was a place to sleep for 1 night so I chose low end. The room was really bad. It had what were more like cots than beds - they had folding legs under them and the mattresses were about 3 inches thick. The carpet was completely worn and dirty, the walls were dirty, there were no electrical outlets (except one in the bathroom for a shaver), no chairs, no hair dryer, and the bathroom was a plastic box which contained a toilet, sink and shower in a space less than 3 feet by 5 feet. It is right across from the train station, which is not where you want to be if you are sightseeing (but Ok for me because I was leaving in the morning). On the plus side: a free, decent breakfast, nice staff, and cheap (about $60).

Hôtel correct rapport, qualité prix, pour une nuit en transit sur Bordeaux. Accueil du personnel a été satisfaisant. Le seul bémol, a été le bruit. Le manque de discrétion des résidents à heure tardive dans les couloirs.

while with minimum amenities, the hotel is clean, the bed comfortable, the water hot, the staff nice and very helpfu and it is right next to a tram linel. Not a hotel to spend time in but for those who use a hotel just to sleep, this is a bargain.

rafraîchir l'hôtel serait nécessaire. Mais il tout près de la gare et pas trop, cher, alors.... Germain B.

A part le personnel l'ensemble est décevant, dès l'entrée de l'hôtel on voit que la moquette est très sale, idem dans la chambre, pas de dessus de lit, les murs méritent d'être repeints il y a plein de taches jaunâtres, il n'y a qu'une seule prise de disponible et elle est défectueuse. Vu l'aspect général de la chambre, on apréhende l'état du lit... les draps étaient quand même propre et le couchage était bon. en ce qui concerne la salle de bain, seuls les sanitaires étaient propres, le sol ne l'était pas, la chambre était prévue pour 2 mais il n'y avait qu'une serviette de bain, un gobelet et un tapis de douche. En dépannage, ok mais rapport qualité prix c'est nul.

Bon personnel mais avec un equipement qui laisse a desirer (une seule prise electrique dans la chambre, fenetre bloquee.......)
