Hotel Niwa Tokyo

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns bei allen kleineren und grösseren Problemen und Anfragen super weiter geholfen! Die Zimmer waren immer erstaunlich schnell gerichtet und immer in einem Top-Zustand. Wer das Zentrum Tokyos erkunden möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Speisen in den Restaurants waren köstlich und der Service allgemein echt unschlagbar. Wir konnten zu jeder Tages-/ Nachtzeit mit Fragen anrennen und immer hat man uns helfen können. Für uns war es ein super Aufenthalt im Hotel Niwa!

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel, die schönen Bilder auf der Homepage versprechen nicht zu viel, alles wirkt gepflegt und professionell. Was ich als sehr angenehm empfand war, dass die Zimmermädchen bei ausgehängtem "nicht stören Schild" wirklich nie geklopft haben oder gar einfach in das Zimmer hereinkamen, trotzdem aber selbst bei spätem verlassen des Zimmers bei der Rückkehr alles wieder gereinigt und aufgefüllt war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich, mit sowohl europäischer als auch japanischer Kost und das Personal war auch hier wahnsinnig freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Preis ist mit ca. 23 CHF etwas hoch aber auch gerechtfertigt. Der Bahnhof für die JR Line wie auch für die U-Bahn sind in ein paar Gehminuten zu erreichen, das Hotel ist übrigens mit der JR Line nur zwei Stationen vom berühmten und zentralen Akihabara entfernt. Die Nachbarschaft ist mit vielen Restaurants, Imbissläden und 24h-Shops ausgestattet. Auch die Anreise vom Flughafen war äusserst angenehm, vom Narita-Airport kommt man gut in einer 3/4 Stunde zum Ueno-Bahnhof, von dort aus hatten wir dann das Taxi genommen. (Kosten und Wegbeschreibung für jeden Reiseweg sind sogar auf der Hotelhomepage aufgelistet). Das absolute Highlight war aber, dass der Tokio-Dome (Vergnügungsanlage mit Achterbahn,Riesenrad, Shopping, Lokalen, Bowling) doch tatsächlich nur ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt ist. Wir können das Hotel wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Tokio uns definitiv wieder für das Hotel Niwa entscheiden.

This hotel is only a 5 min. walk away from the train station. It is a gem in the midst of the city. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was nice. The rooms were small, but compared to the rest of the rooms we stayed in while in Japan, they were comparable. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A delightful hotel, with good facilities and the rooms were fairly spacious and pleasantly decorated. We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and obliging. Most staff spoke English and although their individual ability did vary, we soon identified which staff could help us best. The hotel is in a good location and the local station offers easy access for many of the main tourist attractions in Tokyo. A very enjoyable stay in Tokyo and great value for money.

I stayed during Summer 2010 and this hotel is pretty new. The rooms are SPOTLESS SPOTLESS SPOTLESS. You could literally eat off the floor. They provide you with nearly everything you need in terms of toiletries. The rooms are small, yes (it is Japan), but the modern amenities and extremely accommodating, friendly staff make up for it. The buffet breakfast is very good.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location is excellent for travelling around Tokyo, it is a short walk to a central metro station.

I would recommend this hotel. The hotel was perfect.The room was great. The staff was very helpful and professional, and could converse in English. The Hotel is two blocks from a transportation hub,and five blocks from Dome City and the baseball staduim. This is the perfect spot for exploring Tokyo.

Nice clean and quiet hotel. Located on a back street, but close to major sites and a train station. This hotel was a nice oasis in busy tokyo.

Great hotel at a very reasonable price, decently close to subway station. Room was on the smaller side but more than enough for one person. Housekeeping did a meticulous job.

Great location close to train station, off the beaten track but close to many sights and easy to get to key sites via Suidobachi train station 2 blocks away. Beautiful rooms, service was great- staff were very helpful with information on where to eat, where to shop, etc. Would highly recommend this place for the price I got.
