For Bogotá, this is an excellent hotel and oustanding value. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms, good service, nice TVs, comfortable beds with good linens, nice full power shower with good heat (not always a given in Bogota), English speaking staff if needed, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic (linen on tables, for example, and made to order omelettes among other goodies). Location is good, and convenient by taxi to most places.

What an excelent hotel! Great location, near of the all hot spots of the city. Great facilities, the rooms are excelent. The best thing, however, is the service, which is awesome, every employee were very kind. It was the best experience i have had in Bogotá.

I will stay at this hotel again even though the taxi price is a little high to the airport, the breakfast brunch was wondeful with lots of joices

The location of the hotel is less than ideal (the surrounding neighborhood can be dangerous after dusk), the front desk staff is less than helpful, and the quality of the facility does not match its official "4-star rating" (a high 2, maybe a 3). The hotel has potential, but it is poorly run (in fact, a simple customer service workshop would help this hotel improve its rating).Warning: Reservations made through [...] usually do not include breakfast, so you will be made feel like a "second class customer" upon arrival and throughout your stay in this hotel (and other pertaining to the Estelar hotel chain). Other travel reservation websites usually do not have those restrictions, so using them may be a better option for those who appreciate the convenience of a hotel-based breakfast option.

Excellent Service, Very friendly and helpful staff, I did not use the fitness center or pool, No A/C or heat (not needed in Bogota) the temp varies from about 64F at night to about 74F during the day. The windows open. Room was very clean and all sheets and blankets are changed each day. I drank the water from the tap and had no adverse effects. I was on the 8th floor and the 9th floor had a private party that was pretty loud until around 2 AM one night. Since I was up anyway it did not bother me. I am sure they would have put me in another room had I asked. The complimentary breakfast was a buffet. Typical breads, fruits, and hot entries with a Colombian flare. The food was very good at the restaurant. They also have a "bar" which is actually just another restaurant. The menu is slightly different and I thought a little better. Food prices were slightly high for Columbia but I thought it was worth it. Room service available 24/7 with full menu. I only used once so I do not know how good it is. Ice was not available on the floor but they brought it to your room very fast. The room was large with two beds couch and desk. Internet was free for two hours and avail for about $12US for 24 hours. Phone calls to the US were extremely expensive $50US for a half hour. I learned the hard way. One of the staff members got me a phone card and showed me how to use it at a public phone located on the lower level and nineth floor. Another staff member brought a map of Bogota from his home after I was unable to purchase one. I made last minute travel plans and did not have reservations for a rental car which I wanted. The girl at the front desk spent hours making phone calls to make arrangements for me to get a car which I found out is very difficult in Colombia. Several staff members spoke broken English (enough to get by). English is NOT spoken by most Bogota residents. Overall I would rate it as an excellent hotel. A little expensive for Colombia but well worth it. Location is great (financial district in the east central area of town). I would rate this hotel as extremely good. The staff was top notch and went out of there way to help in any way they could. And as I stated earlier the food was great.

It is a fine hotel property in a good location in between Zona Norte and La Candelaria. You can walk to a lot of clubs, museums, bars, shopping, dinning. I got locked out of a hotel one evening around 11:50PM...there is no buzzer and if there is no one at the reception....sorry... you are out of luck. They charge extra for internet, breakfast everything.... so watch out when comparing pricing. They didn't call my taxi when I ordered for the airport and wanted to me to use hotel taxi which doesn't run on taxi meter thus i paid 40% higher fare then I should have.... overall. good property with bad staff and management.

We ate breakfast using room service everyday and it was very good with nice fresh fruit. Although the room was quiet we virtually had no view accept for the family next door who kept us from opening our shades for the majority of our stay. The toilet stopped flushing on the 3rd day. The staff showed up to repair it within a few hours but it immediately broke and they never cam back to fix it after more than one call to the front desk. They left us water on top of the mini bar as though it was complimentary but then charged us for it. Day two through day four we could not get the staff to leave us any drinking glasses. T check in they said my room was not available even though I had confirmed by phone the night before...had to take a room with 2 twin beds. I will not use this hotel on my next visit.

friendly staff just a quarter block away from a great avenue walking distance to good restaurants shoping area and great catholioc church with a very lively square...arts crafts pigeons....and more

overall it was a pleasant stay, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel is in a quiet residential area but easily accessible to all locations. The food they serve their is nothing to write home about and the gym is a room with a treadmill and a stationary bike, not much.
