Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place

The lobby is very nice but the rooms are plain and aged. Was a little dissapointed when I first opened the room door.

The bed had beg bugs and we have bites on us. You need to check your rooms/

the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place, Melbourne, Florida is an older Hilton and in need of an upgrade. it is dated and nothing much has changed over the years

Overall, a nice experience. the first night we were going to dinner and called the front desk for a taxi, which she ordered. As we were waiting at the bar for it, the bartender told us that the hotel provides a van to take the guests around. I thought it was bad service by the front desk to not inform us of that. we went out both nights and the van was only available once. we paid for a cab twice. otherwise, everyone else was friendly and accomodating. I would return for a long weekend stay.

Stayed at the Melbourne Rialto for 6 days while visiting family in the area. Overall, the accommodations were about expected. The hotel was very clean even though maid service had to be constantly reminded to clean the room or bring fresh towels. Stayed during the Christmas holiday season and the hotel was very quiet because there were not many people staying at the hotel I wish I asked for a better room- at least one with a view. Had to pay extra for a mini fridge and microwave. Used such facilities as the gym, business center, and free shuttle service within 5 miles which was very handy because the hotel is not located withing walking distance of anything interesting and my mom and I did not drive this trip.My mom also complained that continental breakfast should have also been offered with the room but that did not bother me. All in all not a bad hotel. On the next trip I will probably try somewhere else- a hotel closer to more interesting areas with shopping and dining options near by.

We were going to stay at a hotel on the beach but we wanted to spend less money.What a deal! We were only ten minutes from the beach and the area around the hotel was nice.I did alot of research for this vacation and The positive comments about this hotel that I read helped me in my decision.Melbourne is a very nice area and is close to everything,we went to a restaurant called Willys fishbone or something like that.Good Food!I hope we get to go there again.

Housekeeping careless about shutting doors when completed with room servicing. I returned to my room and found the bed made, the trash emptied, and the door not latched.

My friends and I chose this hotel as we were running the Marathon in Melbourne and it was about 1.9 miles from the start. I had never actually stayed at any Hilton before, and actually expected it to be fancier than it was. BUT, really it was a great stay. Firstly: It was QUIET. Blissful. The staff were extremely accomodating and assisted me with all sorts of things. (pool towels, newspapers, checking in some friends early.) The toiletries from Crabtree and Evelyn were a nice touch, and made me actually want to use the hotel soaps. While we were there we did use the pool which was very clean, and the hot tub which was also very clean, but of course small. The beds were also very comfy and the pillows were the best I've slept on in a long time. (I wanted to take one or two home but didn't. I did find the TV very difficult to use, but they stated they are now replacing them so maybe that is why.

Very friendly staff and easy to find location. Close to everything.

I highly recommend the junior suite with balcony. 52" flat screen tv, beautiful and luxurious bed. Everything was just perfect. Room service was great and very affordable.
