Embassy Suites Tampa - Downtown Convention Center

after staying at embassy suties throughout florida, Must have to say this is one of the cleanest, and organized hotel experience we had had. Close to the bay and the forum, and casino is only 10 mins away . managers reception is always a nice feature and the cooked to order breakfast is the best. only con, the parking is a mandatory valet, because of the location, which is fine, but the $22 plus tax to park in there lot is bad , especailly if you are staying for the week . Guests should get a better deal for parking,

My wife and I stayed here for one night. We stayed because we were attending a Concert at the Forum. Overall the motel was clean, however the toilet barely worked (not enough pressure). I would stay here again only if I needed to be down town.

Just a short walk away from the arena! The hotels restaurant and staff were amazing! The only complaint is the fold out bed was basically unusable because of how uncomfortable it was.

Limited menu for a supposedly full-service restaurant. Tiny gift shop with only basic ammenities. The staff is 100% untrained and unsure on how to use the onsite safety deposit boxes. Great location, within short walking distance (less than 1 mile) to St. Pete Times Forum hockey arena, history museum, aquarium, convention center, and the trolley line. Rooms are a bit pricey, but can save money by passing on a rental car; plenty of stuff to do within walking distance.

Great location, only issue was the two wedding parties that did not know how to act when they returned to the hotel. Other than that it was wonderful. Breakfast was great, but get there early to get a seat. We used a shuttle from airport, and set it up for him to take us to port for our cruise. Great price! The morning of our cruise we were able to watch our ship come in port, that was pretty cool to see. Nice rooms, lots of space.

For the price, we were disaapointed to have a room with a view entirely of a wall 10 feet from the window. we have had good experiences with this location, but were disappointed with the location when combined with the price.

We stayed here so it was right next to the forum, for that it was great. The staff there were mediocre at best, condescending and rude. All day there was dirty dishes outside multiple rooms. They seem as if they are resting on location for business and not trying at all to make it a good stay.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was large, comfortable and well furnished. The staff was very polite and attentive. The complimentary custom breakfast was excellent! The reasons my stay was less perfect were (1) my room seemed to be near a utility room so there were mechanical noises during the night, (2) a valet confused my car with another guest, and (3) I was mistakenly billed for some bottled water in my room. Nevertheless I highly recommend the Embassy Suites and would stay there again.

Staff could not have been better. Everyone from the bellman to the breakfast chef went out of their way to make sure our stay went well.
