Not at all family friendly

The rooms were very old and very unacceptable. The tv remote didn’t work the front door lock didn’t work the bathroom door handle was broken. The green carpet was disgusting The place is like a flop house for partners. Seems like half the people live at the motel. Calvin and the staff were very nice though

This visit was not for me

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. While the check-in process began on a positive note, the front desk staff was friendly and the presence of lounging cats added a unique charm. The sheets were clean and it’s close to the beach. However, theoverall environment quickly became concerning. As I made my way to the room, there were noticeable and unpleasant odors on each floor: the hallway smelled strongly of marijuana, the second floor of vinegar, and the third floor had a musty scent. The entire hotel needs renovation, it’s old and they aren’t trying to hide it. Upon entering the room, the odor was overwhelming. There was no air conditioning or fan, and though we attempted to air it out by opening the windows, there were no screens, or other methods to lock it for safety, which raised additional concerns. The mattress was so old that I sunk down way too deep and I never felt I could comfortably take off my shoes. What ultimately led to my decision to leave was witnessing an individual a few doors down openly smoking substances other than weed from a soda can. At that point, I chose to check out and seek accommodations elsewhere. The towels are old, worn, and dingy like the whole property. This hotel is worth $70 at best per night and that’s being generous. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this property again. Good luck to you if you choose this destination.

Served a purpose

Overall it was a cheap night's sleep. It's about 20 years out of date, but served it's purpose for the night. Pictures online definitely need to be updated. Presents it to be nicer than truly is.

Beds were not fully made when we got to our room there were small holes in the walls in random spots the door looked like some one tried to break into it before the blinds were broken and had some that were missing and they have bed bugs I got bit never again not worth it I tried to give a spot like this a chance because it was cheap never again

The room smelled awful. We bought air fresheners and plugged them in to get rid of the musty smell. There is NO free breakfast there. Parking was ok. But we asked for another room so we can park our truck in the front. Need disabled entrances to the rooms Long walk to enter from the front door.

Last minute booking. Ick. Ick. Ick. Bathroom heater didn't work. All hard floors so freezing. Beds were not beds, they were cheaply built plywood slabs. Very uncomfortable mattresses. Very few TV channels. Had to put the coffee pot on the chair to work as there were no sockets anywhere else down low. Then we saw the state of the packets and changed our mind. Damp nasty things. The door looked like it had been kicked in... Several times. The whole place gave me the heebie jeebies, I was waiting for a hooker to knock on the door. Oh and no elevator. The only lovely thing was the front desk woman. She was fabulous and needs to work at a nice 5 star hotel because of her wonderful personality. She is wasted there.
