Oljapetra is a fully renovated and quietly located holiday home for 4 people with a private pool, only 2.5 km from the sea. The house is within walking distance of the village of Lefkogia with its small supermarket and charming tavernas. Be sure to visit Stella and say hello from us. Plakias is only a 5 minute drive away. This lively village has a beautiful large beach and many excellent restaurants.
Inside
Modern living room with open kitchen, double sliding doors to the terrace and the garden with private pool. Two bedrooms. One has a king size bed measuring 180x200 (Coconut, high quality beds). The other has two single beds that can also be prepared as a double bed. There is also a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Outside
Large fully enclosed garden with beautiful views of the sea and the mountains. Private pool, several seating areas, a small outdoor kitchen, fruit trees and plenty of parking space. A real highlight is the rooftop terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sunset.
Surroundings
Lefkogia is a charming village within walking distance, with several restaurants and a small supermarket. Plakias is 6 km away and offers all facilities, many restaurants, beach bars and more.
Activities
This rugged and mountainous region offers wonderful opportunities for peaceful hikes with wide panoramic views. In the Kourtaliotiko Gorge you can follow the steps down to the waterfalls and the small church of Agios Nikolaos. Birds of prey are often seen in the gorge. If you prefer a day at the beach, you will have many options. From your holiday home you can easily reach Amoudi and Damnoni Beach. You can also visit the beaches of Plakias, Souda or Preveli with its unique palm forest. Every beach has its own charm. You can go by car, all beaches are within about 15 minutes, or you can take a boat from Plakias to Amoudi or Preveli. Hiking to Preveli Beach is also possible. Park your car near the 18th century Venetian bridge and follow the path past ancient olive trees through the mountains and along the river. The Moni Preveli monastery is also worth a visit. It is still inhabited by three monks and is built around a natural spring with many steps and height differences. If you would like more tips about the area, feel free to ask us.
