The apartment is located on the top floor of a 5 story building in a safe area, accessible by elevator. Onsite parking is a big advantage if you are driving, but spaces are small and access is a bit tricky, so don't think of bringing a large vehicle here. It's close to the center of town and the tourist pedestrian area, but it's on a moderately steep slope, so folks with mobility issues beware (the slope is not long, and it's adequately lit). Unless you have mobility issues, ignore the ridiculously long Apple Maps walking directions to the center of town (20 minutes) and go straight downhill (6 minutes). You can walk here from the train station, but be prepared to drag your luggage uphill a good part of the way.The pictures of the apartment are accurate. There is air conditioning in all rooms. The kitchen is well furnished. Laundry machine and clothes lines are on a balcony off the kitchen. Beds are firm but comfortable. Communication with the manager was good and she met us on arrival, although finding the place was a little tricky as no street number is provided, and the roads in the area are not well signed. We'd be happy to stay here again if in the area.
Good: Great location, easy walk to town center, food etc. easy drive to valley of temples. Unit was clean and well maintained. Driving in Italian towns can be challenging but after Positano this was nothing. The town is a gem to walk through so donât miss out on experience.Bad: No dedicated parking space. We found parking without problems on street but if you came back late that might be tough. There is paid parking a block away that was our contingency plan that we didnât need. We were met and shown around through unit and all was good. I personally have a preference for units with remote checkin capable in case we come in late but this time it was fine and we got lots of good restaurant advice. Summary: I would recommend and would not hesitate to book this again.
We had a wonderful stay at Le Sorelle. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. It was located a couple of blocks from the historic center. We were also able to walk to the Valley of the Temples. Our host made great restaurant recommendations. We had a delightful meal in the old city at Sal8. We would stay here again.
