Large Village Home in Alaro with pool and easy access to all of Mallorca
Amazing home in the village of Alaro - Less than 5 minute walk to square! Classic Mallorquin home with unbelievable light and 14 foot ceilings! Enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces - pool with sunlight throughout the day as well as upstairs terrace to enjoying views and light at all different times as the sun rises, moves across and sets. Enjoy the sun, hide in the shade, dip in the pool to cool off. A large home just in town - you get the practical convenience of the village as well as the outdoor dual living space with pool and second story terrace.
Three bedrooms upstairs all with queen beds and in-suite bathrooms. All upstairs bedrooms have individual AC units. Additional get away sitting area (lots of books and family games) that leads to outdoor second story terrace. The laundry rooms is also conveniently located on the second floor.
The 4th bedroom is on the main floor with King bed and also has an in-suite bathroom. This bedroom does not have AC. We actually haven't been here in the summer as recently purchased so we're not sure how warm it gets although have been told the airflow (with fans and being downstairs) is good and not too hot.
Upon entrance, open the traditional wood Mallorquin doors and be welcomed with a large foyer separated by classic glass Mallorquin entry. To the right are stairs that lead you to the second floor. Straight ahead offers unprecedented light as you enter the living room, to the dining room and kitchen with multiple entries to the small patio with pool, BBQ and enough seating for 8 (as well a few sunbeds to relax!).
The kitchen is fully equipped and modern - Electrolux stovetop, oven and separate refrigerator and freezer. All of the expectations of a luxury home are included - coffee, kettle, microwave (this one isn't the best), toaster, dishes, pots, baking needs, etc.
Our home is both classic of the area and modern with the amenities. It is a our new primary home that we're renting for the first time this summer and will be retuning in the fall. Wifi of course. Even has a newly installed landline (we let the kids use it in the village to keep them off screens and relive our 80's and 90's life!).
We are located in/just at the beginning of the outskirts of town. Eroski supermarket can be walked to in one minute as well as a couple of cafes and restaurants. The center of town and square is a 5 minute walk. Can start hiking or cycling directly from the house. The actual foot print of the land is not huge - the house is approx. 320 squared meters (both floors) and the outside area on the first floor another 150 squared meters and the upstairs terrace an additional 100 squared meters.
Alaro offers convenience of the entire island (not on the beach as you know!) but access to Palma, beach, golf, cycling, hiking, etc. Can get to both Alcudia (to the east) and Calvia (to the west) in under 40 minutes! Both the airport and Palma are under 30 minutes by car.
Our ideal situation is to rent our home annually in the summer to one or two families for a total of two months. We’re hopeful to find people that our looking for a recurring summer retreat that we can both trust each other and most importan
