The cable service in the rooms needs to work properly to get proper TV service and the mattresses need to be updated or changed. Put in more firm ones.

Quiet room sufficed for a one-night stay

I checked in late around 10pm and left by 8:30am the next morning. The room and facility were very dated, but generally clean and quiet. The bathroom (sink, toilet, & shower) functioned well.

It would benefit EconoLodge to charge $20 more so floors can be swept and showers cleaned in the rooms, as well as having at least bananas as a healthy breakfast choice. I will say they had hard boiled eggs but i didnt want to try them. I had a cheerio type cereal and a cheap cup of coffee for the road. Bed was made and sheets were clean, so thank you for that. Staff at the desk was courteous and helpful. I just can't overlook the lack of cleanliness in the room.

First, I'll address 2 negative reviews that I saw and counter with our experience. The first, our room did NOT smell bad at all. And the 2nd, the customer service was PHENOMENAL!!! Look y'all, is it a "top tier" hotel/motel? No.... BUT it was EXACTLY what we needed, when we needed it. I couldn't be happier with the stay. The bed was comfortable enough, the AC got down to what I needed it to, the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water, and most importantly, no one messed with our vehicle! Very impressed!

The amenities were poor. I stayed only one hour after I arrived and I couldn’t get out of the hotel room fast enough. The room smelled like mildew. I started feeling nauseous. I was scheduled to stay for two nights and I decided not to because of the the odor. I tried to bring the back the key but, no one was at the front desk.
