Villa Buddha is an oriental-inspired retreat, perfect for families or groups seeking a peaceful and sophisticated getaway in Montechoro, Albufeira, with capacity for 18+4 guests. The property features a total of 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, 3 of which are en suite.



The spacious open-plan living and dining area creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for enjoying quality time with family and friends.



On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, as well as an additional guest WC for extra convenience.



On the first floor, there are three double bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom with a shower, ensuring comfort and privacy for all guests.



On the lower floor, there is a bedroom with four bunk beds and another double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, perfect for families or groups who value extra privacy.



The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, offering all the practicality needed to prepare and share meals together.



Outside, the villa offers a spacious leisure area with a BBQ, an additional bathroom, a large private swimming pool surrounded by lush gardens, and a relaxing space with bamboo lounge chairs and hanging seats. It also includes a snooker table and table football, perfect for fun moments with family and friends.



Located in Montechoro, within walking distance of Albufeira’s center, close to the beach, bars, restaurants, and the lively Strip and Old Town.



The changeover day for this property is Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.



This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).



Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.

Good villa for a family holiday with a few improvements neededWe stayed here as a family of 14, ranging in age from 4 to 60, and overall had a really lovely holiday. The villa is spacious, well laid out and offers plenty of different bedroom combinations, which worked perfectly for a large group like ours. The pool area was great, with lots of space for sunbathing and relaxing.The location was also very convenient: about a 20–25 minute walk to a lovely beach, 10–15 minutes to the main strip with bars and restaurants, and only a 5-minute Uber ride to the old town. Ubers were cheap, quick and reliable, and the nearest supermarket was only a short walk away.There were, however, a few things that could be improved. For a villa that sleeps up to 22, there definitely wasn’t enough crockery, glasses, plates or cooking equipment, which made mealtimes a bit challenging. There also weren’t enough sunbeds for our group of 14, and the BBQ was very small, to the point we didnt use it. Although the villa technically accommodates 22 people, I feel it would be too cramped for that number.We priced Algarve Vaccation to take us to rhe waterpark but they were double the price of buying tickets online ourselves and booking an Uber to take us there so beware of that. Overall, we had a good stay, but a few upgrades would make it even better for large groups.

Nice large Vila with ample sized rooms. Good location and facilitiesOnly negatives were the inflexibility of the hosts to allow any deviation on check in and check out time. They were very abrupt and not helpful.The property manager never turned up to greet us and therefore we had to work things out for ourselves.The property was nice but completely bare of the basics, washing up products, salt, pepper, cleaning products. We had to go and buy all this on day one, with no guidance from the property manager.I think for the price, leaving a few basics for guests to use is not unreasonable. Final thing was one of the bedrooms had 6 sets of children’s bunk beds in it, despite the fact we had two adults in that room.

Fantastic spot!

Our time at the villa was a perfect. The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. Loved that the restaurants and supermarkets were just a short walk away from the villa. Made things so easy and stress-free. Being able to grab a bite or pick up essentials without any hassle was a big plus. It really added to the overall comfort of our stay. Great location! If you're heading to Albufeira, this place is a solid choice. Looking forward to coming back!

The house itself is a true retreat!

What a magnificent stay at this Villa in Albufeira! We were amazed by the spacious and well-equipped house, perfect for our family of 18 people. The 6 bedrooms provided comfort to everyone. The location of this Villa is great, being close to all amenities and attractions. The proximity to everything made our days even more convenient and full of fun. The house itself is a true retreat, with expansive spaces and a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this Villa for large groups looking for an unforgettable experience in Albufeira. We can't wait to come back!
