What a lovely place. The bed is so comfortable and the room attractively furnished Plus, lots of outlets for all our modern paraphernalia! Have not found that in other historical properties. Good location-easy to walk to other historical sites and attractions from here. Lovely lawn with tables to sit out front and discuss the days adventures
Kathy and Steve were fabulous. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The guests were friendly and happily enjoying breakfast together. The mansion is awesome with rich history. The location was near many restaurants and shopping in Old Town Albuquerque.
1) stayed at the William Hazeldine room, bathroom area very COLD, heating unit in this area was just blowing semi warm air right next to toilet seat
2) beadroom area also uncomfortable, heating unit in this room also not up to par on heating, when lights in room were off it has a temperature display and it lights the room like a spot light,
3) could not cuddle with partner due to mattress has how should I put it a speed bump in the middle of the bed itâs already pre sunk on the sides, also bed spread needs a wash, it had smell to it.
4) staff and breakfast were excellent .
Expectations were high due to the property history but some heating and cooling improvements are warranted
I particularly valued the opportunity to speak with the owner about the history of the property and my family's connection to it. I felt very much at home.
Charming and small B&B. More interesting than the usual corporates. Room was a bit cramped and noisy. The complimentary cookies were nice. Simple but good quality breakfast. Close to the old town.
This place is an oasis in the middle of a bustling area. So close to various attractions, and yet totally peaceful to return home to! Quiet, impeccably clean and full of interesting N.M. history.
