The parking lot was fine. Lobby fine. The cost was appealing, BUT the worst shower ever taken. Water was not hot, not lukewarm. Shower water was luke-cold. Shower curtain was a disgrace, would not stay closed during shower. Sink in bathroom filled up every time water was used. Drained slowly. Bed was fine. TV could not be used by following printed instructions. We had to go to the front desk for an explanation. We will not be going back to the La Quinta on Menaul.

Nice rooms but hotel needs work

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom fan didn’t work. Every time you got on the elevator the help phone would ring and ring. The pool area only 2 lights were working it felt like the dungeon. Plus the hot tub was broken and the size of the hot tub was only big enough for 2 people. Plus there was no toilet paper in the main floor bathroom by the pool.

Friendly staff, enjoyed the pancakes and fresh eggs. The bath tub paint was flaking off but the bed was comfortable and the room was large. Restaurants and shopping were nearby but walking to them was not recommended.

Unpleasant stay

We stated here as my sons girlfriend had a cheerleader competition. Upon arriving, the desk person was very standoffish, almost rude. Found our reservation gave us our keys and we left. When we got to the room to settle in, we found the tv did not work. Called the desk. Lady said she would be right there. 15 minutes later she came. Apologies because she is the only employee on (Friday night.) Said the hotel was sold out. She could not fix our tv and again said she could not move us as they were sold out. Said she was going to call her manager and would call us right back. We are still waiting for the call and we are now home!!! So no tv. The following morning we got up to get ready. NO HOT WATER. Cold showers...ice cold not an exaggeration. Called the desk with no avail...no answer..no call back. Again. Upon looking around tye riom that morning. We found it very dirty. Blood on the wall, mold on the window panes, dirt in the bedskirt. Dirty cups left under the bed from a previous stay. Mattress was dirty stained with something not sure what it was. Bed cover was dirty had black stains on it. Needless to say it was not a very pleasant stay and we shall not return, nor recommended it for anyone in the future.

Special request was ignored. Desk attendant at check in was rude. Specifically asked about the hot tub- shown were it was but was not told it wasn't working. Asked for a close room (handicap reasons), but was put on total opposite side of motel. Breakfast was very lacking. Won't stay here again!

Bathroom sink really slow to drain and fan in bathroom did not work.There was a constant leak in bathtub faucet!! And,there were no luggage carts available. The staff at the front desk were awesome!! The food service at morning breakfast was the best! The cleanliness of the rooms were remarkable.Everyone at La Quinta were so helpful….overall,we had a pleasant experience at this location!!

Good location, good value

Very good value for the money. The hotel has been renovated in the last year or so. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff is as nice and friendly as can be. Breakfast is better than most and includes fresh fruit. Fitness center is a huge room, but it needs attention — from wipes and towels (there were none) to getting the equipment working. Location is convenient to highways and is a 10-minute drive to most places.

Affordable but needs a little TLC

The hotel was listed as "renovated" which in most areas it was, looking new and modern, however the bathroom tub was "nasty" chipped surfaces and moldy caulking not the most inviting to take a shower in after a long day of traveling. We did like the large flat screen TV. Breakfast was normal hotel fare. Not much in the area for dining.

Bedbugs!

The bed had bedbugs and when mentioned to the front the desk the lady stated “we don’t come back”. She was not able to return a refund or any accommodation. My son and I had obvious bites and photos had been shown to her.
