Gorgeous house in a gorgeous area. The place was clean and well-furnished, and the location made it easy to access activities like restaurants and Boldt Castle. My only comment: the wifi is very slow, too slow to load even images quickly, so this isn’t WFH-friendly.

ABay peaceful stay!

Lovely home, well equipped, quiet street on the River, peaceful, wildlife visits, close to everything, great communications with Darlene. If you’re ever visiting ABsy, stay a while…you won’t be disappointed!

Great time!

Everything from finding the place, to check in, to proximity to activities was great! We didn’t need anything from the hosts during our stay but they were very responsive before hand! The place was great for hanging out during the time we spent inside. Beds were not the most comfortable, and you have to take every piece of garbage with you when you leave which was hard since we were coming from out of town, but we made it work! We had a wonderful time and would return.

Nice & Quiet Location

My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights on the last leg of our road trip to see Boldt Castle. The location was great with easy walking distance to the water shuttles to Heart Island. The space itself was great, everything we needed was there. There were a few things that did not work but we were able to work around them. The backyard was nice as well, though the marina that's behind the property doesn't take too much care of the water as there was trash floating back there unfortunately. You can see the sunset from the back which was also nice!

Alex Bay Trip

My family of 6 stayed here for the weekend because I was registered to run in the 1000 Island 10k Race. It was such a great location! My husband and step dad were able to dock their boat and fish the river while my mom, my kids, and I were able to walk to James Street where there is a strip of souvenir stores and restaurants! The house was clean and welcoming! The host was readily available for any questions we had! I highly recommend this house!

Great House & Location

The house was outstanding. A great location on a side street in the Bay. Easily walking distance 3-4 minutes from downtown! Spacious property with an excellent backyard and dock! If you had a boat it would be easy to keep it behind the house to get access to the water! The house was very clean and has an excellent great room for gathering! Highly recommend this house to people looking for a get away with friends and family!

Great trip - falling down the stairs (sober)

Neg. No AC upstairs, bing cameras in the living areas, dangerous stairs..Pos. great location and dock setup for boaters and fisherman , great access to some key fishing areas on the river. Backroom / backyard awesome setup.
