The condition of the property is poor. Breakfast on weekends was not until 8 which was to late. We never really felt welcome.

Beautiful old hotel. Well maintained and comfortable. We booked 2 nights. We had to remind ourselves that we were in Scotland and things were different than we were use to. The bed was uncomfortable and the top cover was too small for the bed. Either we did not know how to flush the toilet or it wasn’t working properly. We reported it to the staff. It was like priming a pump to get it to flush. Don’t know, in this beautiful old house, that might be normal.

This is a very nice little hotel. My room and bathroom were very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room felt more like a room in a home rather than a hotel room. I had supper in the restaurant (braised beef) and it was delicious. Breakfast was made to order and was also good. They have a beautiful grounds…like a small park. Google Maps took me to the wrong street; just follow the sign. I would definitely go back.
