Tim is a wonderful host! He is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The windows give you plenty of privacy during the day while the curtains are drawn letting in natural light. They have a fire pit and even supply wood for it. If you have no interest in building a fire there is also a propane one on the property surrounded with the comforts of patio furniture. Although it is located off the main road, it is very peaceful and welcoming.
There is a laundry facility, a place to store your prizes from fishing, and a propane grill to cook up any food you'd like.
It is not a pet friendly hotel HOWEVER there is a boarding house just down the road if traveling with your fur babies.
We've stayed on two different occasions and 110% will return.
To be honest I didn't want to write this review because deep down I wanted to keep this hidden gem to ourselves.
This is a prime location to stay whether fishing, four-wheeling or snowmobiling as it is located conveniently on the trails.
The cabin was clean, spacious and fairly new. The host was friendly and helpful. We stayed one night during a long trip so we hoped for something comparable to it hotel room. But there was not enough furniture in the room. Suitcases had to go on the floor. Breakfast was a very basic continental style missing several very key items. The bathroom has no counter space so we had to make do using the top of the toilet. This is a nice, quiet, secluded place. It's comfortable and clean, but if you expected hotel like accommodations you will be disappointed.
