We really liked this hotel, we brought our Australian shepherd and found another dog he was able to play with! I also liked how the doors were out side it was convenient for bringing him out!

Not great, but cheap.

It's described as a hotel, but is a motel. There is a Taco Bell, a Wendy's and a Denny's in the parking lot. You could tell there was water damage under the vanity as the baseboard was off. I noticed when drying my hair. You bounced a little when standing in the shower. It feels rotten underneath. There were no black out shades so the sunlight beamed right into room 120 at dawn.

I am handicapped. The accessible bathroom was the best I have ever seen. Breakfast was a little crazy. The area is too tight and crowded the easily prepare and serve vreakfast. What was provided was good. I really got a chuckle with the Texas shaped waffles. I would definately choose this La Quinta again.

The rooms were dirty, there was cockroaches and spiders and the beds were uncomfortable. The staff was nice but because of the conditions the rooms were in I would not recommend staying there.

My stay was phenomenal besides the woman who runs the desk in the am. Not sure what her name was but she was rude. Claiming I was not a guest there until I proved proper clarification of my stay. Outside of that no issues whatsoever, housekeeping was perfect couldn’t ask for better service. From the bathroom to the Bluetooth speaker. Would definitely recommend to others if you get a chance to stay in Amarillo. Only thing I could complain about is. I work from 6-4 Monday through Saturday. Which means I didn’t get breakfast like I deserved. Next time if I ask for a yogurt from the fridge I feel like for 💵570.59 a week that’s not to much to ask.

This property is in desperate need of upgrading! The grounds and building are old and not in good repair. My suite had numerous wall plugs that didn’t work and I had to take the hair dryer into the living area just to dry my hair! There is also no elevator for the second floor which makes it inconvenient to lug all the suitcases to the room. Hands down the worst La Quinta property I have ever stayed in! Won’t go back.

Unsafe environemnt

Terrible service and unsafe environment. Upon arrival, there were three police cars outside of our unit. Immediately turned back and handed in our room key. No apologies. No attempt to offer alternative solution. No refund. Wouldn't stay at this place, even if it was free.
