Good property

We were 6 in the property- grandparents, parents and children. The property was furnished to a good standard (all bedrooms are doubles but our boys shared a bed). Kitchen very well stocked. WiFi was set up with plenty of routers but didn’t work while we were there and didn’t get fixed. Pool was heated (a massive bonus) and I would guess about 8x4m in size. Supermarkets 10 mins away by car - all open Sunday mornings.

Idyllic location & we would recommend a stay

Beautiful, quiet village in France, surrounded by fields, it really is an idyllic location. The main house is spacious, with 6 generous bedrooms each with an en suite - although the beds were a bit on the small side. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need & there's a BBQ too. The separate pool house is also well equipped with it's own kitchen/dining area. No air con though, which made for a hot stay in August. Great pool & garden which were perfect for our group of young families. Wi-Fi was a bit patchy, but we all had good 4G signal. If arriving on a Sunday, we'd suggest taking food supplies as most supermarkets aren't open. Worth noting for young families that the stairs are not child friendly & there are no baths. Potentially perfect but a bit rough round the edges in some places - e.g. carpets have seen better days, sofa has a hole in it & the rattan table & chairs in the dining area are questionably wonky. Overall a great stay & we would recommend it.

A beautiful, spacious property in a fantastic location about 20 minutes from Fontainebleau.

A beautiful, spacious property in a fantastic, peaceful location, about 20 minutes drive from Fontainebleau. The five en-suite bedrooms in the main house are comfortable and well furnished and the one bedroom pool house is an ideal ‘man pad’ for snorers (like me!) who need to be isolated from the rest of the family! Loved the outdoor area with heated pool and well appointed all weather furniture (but could do with some sun loungers!). On the down side, I found the beds too small for two adults and a little too hard for my liking. Be prepared if you arrive on a Sunday and don’t know the area particularly well, as local major supermarkets are closed. Finally, having to pay €1,000 deposit penalised us financially when we exchanged our cash for pounds sterling on our return to the UK. Overall, a very relaxed holiday after three days at Disneyland Paris, and I would recommend the property to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet in a rural French location.

Lovely big garden nice but small pool house not maintained

House needs attention, broken dishwasher caused big problem, had to carry all the washing up across to the dishwasher in the small house. Bi fold doors in small house broken and not able to open. Every single carpet in the bedrooms and on the landing stained and in bad condition, state of cleanliness when we arrived not to an acceptable standard, we had an 86 year old with us with mobility issues and the only way into the house was down 3 very steep steps, for the money we had to pay too expensive. We were interested in having the cleaning done but the charge was way to expensive. Overall will not be returning or recommending to anyone. person who came to check house at end of stay was rude and did not speak any english, if she had checked the cleanliness like she did with us on previous occasions the place would have been spotless and not as we found it.

Mostly OK

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The accommodation was well equipped and clean. However, The pool water was dirty and could have been better maintained. There was a lot of leaves within and debris laid in the bottom.

Grande maison pour un séjour sympa entre amis !

Nous étions 9 adultes et 2 petits enfants. La maison est agréable, propre et spacieuse pour que chaque couple puisse avoir son intimité mais au même temps qu'on puisse partager tous ensemble, soit à table (à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur), soit à la piscine ou dans un des 2 grands jardins. En plus, la 2eme petite maison avec l'appartement indépendant est très utile, surtout le soir quand les enfants dorment ou si quelqu'un souhaite se reposer avant les autres. La maison est aussi très bien équipée pour faire du télétravail (WiFi + bureau dans chaque chambre). L'organisation pour la réservation était très bien; tout s'est très bien passée avant, pendant et après notre séjour. Merci beaucoup pour le bon accueil !

Beautiful house

Good communication with the owner. We spend a week in this great house but there are a view attentionpoints. Carpet needs to be renewed. The beds are small so if it was my house a would put 2 singlebeds in every room. Loved the poolhouse and pool. The great garden with lot of space. The house is beautiful build. 👍

Batisse, de belles pierres, chambres confortables , de beaux espaces _ rien à redire

belle rénovation d'une grange avec beaucoup de goût , chambres spacieuses avec douche/wc privés, belle cuisine moderne ....Avons passé un excellent WEnd familial. le soleil, la chaleur étaient de la partie !! toute la famille était ravie de profiter de la piscine. Un bon accueil par Mme Lelièvre 2 suggestions : - pour une belle prestation : un PETIT barbecue pour 12 personnes !!!!! - Les chaises longues ne sont pas confortables.
