This place will definitely be my home away from home when I am in Amsterdam! After a long flight from the U. S. They were able to accommodate an early check in. I was shocked at the nice size of the room, the amenities and storage. And although my room was right near the lobby, it was always quiet enough even for day time naps. The coffee machine was my favorite part. Great quiet location within walking distance to everything I wanted to experience. I can’t wait to go back!

Staff was exemplary. Couldn't help me enough. Moved me to 0 floor because elevator was out of service for quite a period. I needed the elevator because of my walker. Carpets in hallways need cleaning.

The rooms at Citadines Canal are small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom is bright with a large shower. The lounge area downstairs with an honesty bar is a pleasant place to relax. What really stands out is the staff. Without exception, they are friendly and very helpful. I was too busy looking up at the gorgeous scenery to look down and an uneven cobblestone caused me to fall. The staff graciously provided me with ice and and ice pack. Tate, at the front desk, is a very personable first contact, super helpful, informative and professional. Citadines Canal: cute and cozy, where their people make a positive difference!

The room was newly updated or remodeled and was excellent. Although I didn't spend a lot of time in the room, it was so nice to come back to a clean fresh and beautiful bathroom, considering most of the bathrooms throughout Amsterdam were a disgusting disaster.
