Great stay at this very convenient property. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with. We had a lovely view of the canal from our room, and the bed was comfortable. I was a little concerned there would be street noise, but that was not an issue at all. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with lots to choose from. It’s a bonus to be walking distance to the central station. I would stay here again on future trips.

5 min walk from the train station, right across the canal. Beautiful view of canal and central station! We walked most places! Metro we didn’t feel was as easy to navigate as the London tube was!

It was in the heart of the canals in Amsterdam and we had a great view of the boats, the hustle & bustle, the cyclists, etc. It was quite pricey at $600 per night, I am not sure if we would stay there the next time as we only stayed for 2 days. Longer would be too expensive for us.

5 day Amsterdam holiday before boarding river cruise to Budapest. This hotel is very centrally located & upmarket so that explains its popularity. It’s in a beautiful old building- The Victoria hotel has been here since the 1890s… however the refurb & decor are ultra modern. Our room was supposed to be a King but obviously a King bed in Europe is smaller than Australians expect. The glass bathroom door right next to the bed is a stupid design & bangs noisily every time. We had no view from our room which was unexpected given how much we paid- this Hotel is expensive- but Europe in summer… etc… so not surprising. The 2 highlights were the daily buffet breakfast- chef’s omelettes recommended- and the service from the Concierge desk was outstanding throughout our stay.
