It’s hard to describe, but the overall atmosphere of the Disneyland Hotel was amazing. My sister and I had a wonderful time. We had a view of the fireworks which was perfect because we were celebrating her birthday. My most favorite thing was how the headboard lit up with the ‘Wish upon a Star’ jingle. It was truly magical. Thank you!

The location was great. People were nice. However, the bathtub was so dangerously slippery that I fell and injured myself. My family was already in the park and it took me 15 minutes to get out because it was so slippery and I was injured. Just a terrilble feeling to feel so helpless.

The lady that checked me in and took care of us was awesome. She helped adjust the parking we had paid at Disney. Also helped me get my key back when I left my wallet inside. She was from Orange I’m sad I don’t remember her name. She had blonde pony tail. I gave stayed in many hotels and interacted with many people. I have never met anyone so genuinely nice as her. She is a beautiful souls and I want to personally thank her for helping my future wife and I. She is the best.

Disneyland Hotel - Didn’t clean our room. Asked for a roll away bed and didn’t get one. Some lights didn’t work. Don’t accept ApplePay when checking in?! Elevators didn’t have key card scans. Anyone can go to any level that’s not their own. Very expensive $900/night, for a very old hotel that hasn’t kept up with the times.

On the positive side … It was super conveniently located! Room was not nice. Service was far below expectations (e.g., they did not service the room one day and on the next one had still not serviced it by around 2pm). Sheets/linens were not great. Things seemed really dated.

Hotel is run down and over priced, bathroom was dirty (Mickey hand lamps were dusty, corners not clean, baseboards, etc), my wife complained that she was getting bit from bugs in the bed. Disney overall has too many rules. It’s also a joke that their system that lets you use gift cards to purchase park tickets or use to apply to the room was “down”. We go every year to Disney, but we’re going to think twice next year. It’s not worth it.

The sink faucet has an issue—it dispenses either scalding hot water or cold water only. The showerhead is leaking, the heating pipe has come loose, and the control unit is not functioning properly. There is also a crack in one of the water glasses. However, what disappointed us the most was the sense of discrimination we experienced. They have a Hawaiian restaurant, and on December 21, when my husband went there to dine, the host asked to see his passport. My husband presented his room key, credit card, explaining that he was a hotel guest. Despite this, the host insisted that without a passport, he could not enter the restaurant and asked him to leave. This was a highly discriminatory act. We did not see any other guests being required to show their passport or ID to enter the restaurant. Today, we also lodged a complaint with the restaurant manager Marhia A. Martinez about this incident. We are utterly unable to tolerate such discriminatory behavior taking place at a Disney hotel restaurant.
