It is the cheapest hotel in the area. You get what you pay for. I just needed a room for 1/2 a day till my plane left. For that it worked. Staff was great. Hotel and area are not. I strongly suggest not to bring children here.

Here in an oky'ish review. I'm giving 3 stars because its one star for each of the 3 nights we stayed there. Positive things first: We didn't have bed bugs and we had clean towels everyday and the beds were comfortable. America's Best Value Inn & Suites did not match the hotel on the reservation site BECAUSE it is a different hotel. A fire took the original hotel in 2022 (look it up online) and it appears that this hotel that shared a parking area was rebeanded and renamed America's Best Value Inn & Suites. It is a Value but does not match the website photos. It's old and run down, no elevator but a simple continental breakfast in the lobby that we expected. Our in room fridge didn't stay closed due to missing magnetic strips to close it properly so everything ran cold and froze our food, loosing $40 of food that was frozen in just 24 hours in a refrigerator (photo attached). Kitchen sink had awful faucet that leaked on counter top. Ground floor room had warped floors in the rooms. We learned that there is not much sound barriers between the floors as neighbors above us had an exceptionally squeeky bed during their 20-30 minute gymnastics event. Thankfully, this was our last night. Even the bathroom light was clinking with every intensifying squeek of the bed frame. Its just a old hotel still making money for cheap travelers. I guess I was cheap but I'd look somewhere else if I went back. There arent a lot of options in Anchorage.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The beds are uncomfortable and have minimal bedding, ripped in some areas. The bathroom had hair and the cloth shower curtain had what appeared to be blood on it. The tv stand was falling apart and had multiple cigarette burns.

Pros: 1. the staff is friendly; 2. room is big and hall way is wide; 3. the location is close to the airport Cons: 1. The hotel interior is old, outdated, and does not feel clean though the sheets and towels are white and washed. 2. The hotel front parking lot has fenced off area, broke lights, garbage outside the building on the ground--overall feels dirty, not maintained. 3. Homeless and suspicious individuals hang out in the front parking lot and streets close by. Restaurants next door have their bathrooms locked. It doesn't feel safe at all. The pictures on Expedia and online do not reflect the true condition of the hotel. Overall, this is not a place I recommend to anyone.

Move on. Looks like a drug house

Pulled up to property and encountered strange acting people wandering around, broken down cars in parking lot. Building was in horrible condition - ratty looking and cluttered. Was afraid to get out of car and/or leave it unattended. Called to see if we could get refund and was declined by manager. Desk clerk told me I was too “judgmental” about the place. Hands down, took the monetary hit. I’m not staying in a place that looks like a crack house.

Horrible and was refreshing to see the druggies outside all tweaked out. Dirty and the handyman who does the work around the property has no idea how to fix anything onsite. We would never go back.

The furnitures were outdated and need to be replaced. The lamp switch was broken and there was no light bulb. Also, tv didn’t work. The bed sunk in in the middle. It was uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and nice.
