Below my expectations for the price paid

For the price paid at the Sheraton in Anchorage, I must say that I was disappointed in the accomodations. Although the entry seemed okay, when we got to our room the furniture was very old and outdated. There were also very few restaurants close by & we were hungry and all of the restaurants in the hotel weren't open. We walked to La Cabana Mexican Restaurant which had good food & service but the area seemed a little sketchy. Save some money and find another place to stay. I couldn't bare taking photos as a reminder of this place.

The bed was amazingly comfort. I wish I knew the brand and type of this bed. Just what I want for my home. Slept like a baby. However, the pillows were terrible. Barely called a pillow.

Our stay here was very good. Our first nights stay in Anchorage was extremely disappointing at a hotel next to the train station. If it was not for proximity to the early start to arrive at the train in the morning we would have immediately moved to the Sheraton which was much more pleasant for two additional nights in the city.

First of all, the hotel photos on the website were exaggerated, and I had booked and confirmed two rooms through Expedia, but when I checked in at the hotel, they only told me that only one room was reserved, and that one of the rooms had been cancelled by Expedia, and that I should contact Expedia since I did not book directly with the hotel. However, there was no cancellation notice on my Expedia account. It was also difficult to contact them by phone from Alaska. In the end, the hotel gave me two rooms that were connected, but one of the rooms did not have a bathroom, so it was not comfortable for five people. So I was grateful that I could only stay one night.

Would have preferred a walk-in shower but room was excellent with lovely view of the mountains. Our reservation was somehow lost but the hotel was very accommodating and gave us their best available rate.

Hotel is Okay. Breakfast was good. But the hotel charged me for 2 night stay at checkout even though Expedia already paid for my hotel. And the charge was not incidental. Expedia called and they said to speak to the Manager. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved. Hotel is not worth the double billing problem. I find it very sneaky on the hotel part to double bill
