This is a perfect spot for a short stay: easy to reach, easy to park your car (I parked on the street, there are also "gated car parks") walking distance to a variety of rest/cafe. The staff are kind and willing to help sincerely. The breakfast is adequate both in variety and quality. The decoration is classic, a bit old but comfortable. Bed/linens were clean, bathroom (again old but useful) is hygienic.

A good stay in Cankaya

The Elit Palas Hotel is a quaint, old-style hotel located in Cankaya. The room was clean and had a small balcony, the staff were friendly and the bed very comfortable. The location was good as it was on a walking street where lots of restaurants and bars are, and is a short walk from a main city shopping street and boulevard. The area is good and to see the major sites of interest in Ankara, you will need to get a bus or taxi. One of the best things about the hotel is the breakfast, which is amazing, with so many choices. My stay was very good and I would recommend. The hotel could improve more if renovations were carried out, but I liked the old style and wooden floors and fixtures within the room and the mattress and bedding was so comfortable

Room not available for 2.00pm check in had to wait until 3.45pm. when checking in at 2pm we were told 10minutes. When I asked again we were told another 10 minutes. We had to get the key card rest every night for the 3days we were there. Breakfast was ok room dated but a good size.

Oda inanılmaz kirli ve bakımsızdı. Yerlerde tüyler ve toz birikintisi çok fazlaydı. Yakın zamanda temizlenmiş gibi durmuyordu. Resepsiyona ne zaman temizlendiğini sorduğumda ya bugün ya da evvelki gün cevabını verdi. Odanın ne zaman temizlediğini o bile bilmiyor ki zaten odada bir kaç günlük toz olması her şeyi gösteriyor. Lambaların aydınlatması yetersiz, ışık kendi kendine artıp azalıyor. Dolabın üst kısmındaki bölümde 20ye yakın ayak havlusu bulunuyordu. Kaldığımız oda kimse tarafından kalınmayan bir depo izlenimi veriyordu. Ses yalıtımı yok denecek kadar yetersiz. . Yan odada konuşulan ve izlenen her şeyi duyuyorsunuz.Mini bar fişe bile takıkı değil hadi hep açık kalmasın diye yapıldı diyelim çevresinde fişi takacak priz bile yok. Resepsiyona giriş yaptıktan hemen sonra bu bilgiler verildiğinde kat görevlisini suçlayarak sorumluluk almadı. Özetle kötü bir otel deneyimiydi. Lokasyon açısından iyi olsa da lokasyon için ödenen paraya değmiyor. Çevrede benzer fiyatlara daha standart hizmet veren oteller de var. Tavsiye etmiyoruz.

Çalışanlar kibar. Kahvaltı başarılı. Otel konum olarak merkezi. Çevrede birçok restorant, cafe ve pub var. Kızılay a yürüme mesafesinde. Benim için tek eksi tarafı odaya yeni giriş yaptığımda yerlerin yeterince temiz olmadığını gördüm. Bence odalar misafirler için daha özenli temizlenebilir.
