Breakfast was not great, although the waffle station was a hit with the kids. Pool was ok, hot tub was out of service. Room was also neat but could use some deep cleaning. Small cracks and areas of washroom, like the tub could use repair. Hallways and lobby were a little smelly.

Unfortunately, extremely hot water comes out of the shower and last about 30 seconds and then it is freezing cold the rest of the time! This occurred for both people that showered, even after waiting time between… and for this reason alone, we will not stay here again. Also, we did not know the property was under construction so all the trim in our room (and some halls) was still taped up, smelled like new paint, plastic wrap on the TV, etc. It was however nice to see the upgrades being done. That said, it would’ve been nice to know that we were going into a facility under construction.

Updated rooms and the pool were pretty nice, though the room still had masking tape on it from recent painting, decent rate on a Saturday holiday weekend, front desk worker could have been more professional attentive, and polite, and it sucked the hot tub was out but I didn’t expect there to be one anyways. Waffles were great as usual too. Can’t complain too much though I won’t write home about this one. Would return in future, especially since renovations should be fully complete by then. (Hot tub, complete rooms, lobby, etc)

Arrive to see 6 front windows completely gone with men replacing them. They worked from 8am-7pm. Wanted to nap but the drilling and constant hammering made it impossible. Decided to go to the pool. Closed for construction. I was told by front desk that it was on the site that they were under construction and that the pool may be closed - that was a lie. There was no warning. The room was clean. For remodeling there was definitely some things that still needed updating. Showers were still old and they had updated lamps but no USB ports anywhere- which I found strange because most hotels have those now. I was tempted to ask for my money back and go elsewhere but I was getting reimbursed by someone else for being there on business and it would’ve been more hassle than it was worth. Would not recommend this place mainly because the staff just didn’t care. I understand construction must be done but they didn’t care about accommodating anyone regarding it.

This was a nice, clean hotel. They are under construction so we expected a bit of noise. But it wasn't until morning that we heard anything. We would come again.
