Our family loved our week at this lovely beach home, an older house that has been thoughtfully remodeled. Gorgeous views of the bay from the living room and kitchen! Back deck has plenty of space to lay out in the sun. The sea wall is near the deck, and the beach area is rocky with about 6 feet to water during day. At night, water covers rocks and laps up to sea wallâŠbeautiful and peaceful. My teenage daughter and her friend enjoyed having their own space in the upstairs loft bedroom with its en suite bath. Husband and I found the primary bedroom to be spacious and very comfortable. Third BR went unused but is very nice as well. Practical points: âKitchen has plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs, serving bowls, utensils, plastic food storage containers, etc. Standard drip coffee maker. Electric water boiler (great for tea and coffee press; bring your own press if that is your thing.) âSecond refrigerator in garage, perfect for extra drinks âBeach gear stored in garage: 2 wagons, 2 umbrellas, at least 6 beach chairs, 4 boogie boards, and lots of pool noodles and sand toys! âFor full beach experience, we walked about 4-5 blocks along North Shore Drive to one of the access points for Bean Point Beach. Street parking (for car or golf cart) is limited. We found it was about as quick to walk. âAnna Maria Life rental company was super responsive when we had a small clog in the garbage disposal. They sent someone out same day. Wonderful home! We hope to return!
