The hotel was easy to find and luckily we bagged the last parking spot so no issues there. Once checked in and paid we were shown to our room and the room and building keys explained to us. The room itself was clean and tidy and enough space for us staying for one night. A wardrobe and desk area came in handy for getting ready. The bedroom floor was a little uneven which is to be expected in an old building, but could be a hazard for someone with mobility issues. The bathroom was clean and tidy although the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet so made for a bit of a precarious experience when using the facilities. The WiFi was not explained nor was there anything in the room with the code so we had to go back downstairs to ask for that. Otherwise a pleasant experience all round. Checkout was simple the next morning, just back down to the bar area and someone was waiting to take the keys from us.
Great location and rooms been done out lovely - there was slight confusion around breakfast as when we went down they said we hadn't got it included but then on showing the booking details from Expedia where it said that breakfast was included - apart from that, great spot and had some lovely food as well
Lovely comfortable room with a lover shower. Little noisy as above restaurant but to be expected when staying in a pub. The team Thomas and the nice lady who served evening dinner were absolutely amazing. Service was triple As. Would definitely return . Thank you
Stayed one night as attending wedding at Holesfoot. Owners & staff very friendly & welcoming . Very clean & comfortable room, time for breakfast was arranged with the owner the evening before and was delicious. Would definitely recommend if visiting Cumbria
