Bienvenue au MOUNTAIN NEST! 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain, 8 Ă  11 couchages, trĂšs pratique pour les magasins d'usine et restaurants de Manchester, terrasse complĂšte face Ă  des vues rapprochĂ©es incroyables du mont Equinox, bain Ă  remous sur le pont pour 4 Ă  7 personnes. Comptoirs en granit dans cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e. 10 personnes peuvent dĂźner confortablement dans la cuisine / salle Ă  manger. La conception Ă  flux ouvert avec un espace salon cathĂ©drale exposant le travail des faisceaux s'ouvre sur le pont et offre une vue sur le mont Equinox de Manchester. Chambre principale au niveau principal avec lit KING, 2 chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage (lits queen) ont des plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s ..... toutes les chambres ont des poutres apparentes. Les chambres Ă  l'Ă©tage ont des lucarnes. Belle mezzanine avec une grande fenĂȘtre en palladium face Ă  une vue imprenable. Le canapĂ© sur le loft se transforme en lit queen trĂšs confortable. Toutes les chambres, y compris la mezzanine, ont la climatisation. La salle de bain Ă  l'Ă©tage a un puits de lumiĂšre au-dessus de la douche / baignoire. Salle de bain en bas des escaliers avec douche sur mesure. Cette maison a Ă©tĂ© construite dans le but de ramener Ă  l'intĂ©rieur les environs incroyables vus Ă  l'extĂ©rieur. De grands chĂȘnes, hĂȘtres et Ă©rables surplombent le pont, vous donnant le sentiment que tout dans cette maison s'harmonise avec ce qui est vu Ă  l'extĂ©rieur. Sortez sur le pont et dĂ©tendez-vous simplement sur les meubles du pont ou ... dans le bain Ă  remous pour 7 personnes. Quoi qu'il en soit, vous serez captivĂ© par cette maison unique en son genre avec son cadre magnifique. TrĂšs charmant et trĂšs Vermont!

The house was perfect for our holiday — comfortable and roomy with a gorgeous, peaceful view of the Green Mountains. Great deck with a BBQ and an outdoor eating setup. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bedrooms were very nice. We appreciated the guidance in the visitor notebook about places to hike and god local restaurants. Alex was timely and helpful with our very few questions. I hope that we can return!

Lovely place!

Exactly as described. Really nice home with excellent property communications. We loved the hot tub on the deck and the amazing views. Nice kitchen that was well equipped with all appliances needed. Bring your own sharp knives :-).

Great views and accommodations

We had a great stay and enjoyed waking up each morning to the Mountain Views. Night time dips in the hot tub and enjoying time with friends. The house is in a great location, quick trip into Manchester center and walking trails.

We arrived to beautiful scenery, clean, warm, well stocked homes. It was a perfect size, for our party. The hot tub was such a hit. We were able to use it morning and night. It was just perfect.

Great Place, Great View

Great place. Great location. Great view! Everything was clean and comfortable. The homeowner was responsive. We made good use of the wood burning stove and hot tub. All in all a great experience. Only one thing we noticed that we would offer any critique on is the staircase was a bit awkward as some of the treads seemed to be sloped.downwards.

Family Stay for. Weekend Wedding

Mountain Nest was an extraordinary spot for a weekend stay in Vermont! The house was so comfortable and cozy with plenty of space to lounge and enjoy meals. What spectacular fall foliage in the mountains and all around from the wraparound deck- and the hot tub was a delight. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to come back again!

Wonderful stay in Sunderland!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Mountain Nest. The house is lovely and nestled into the Green Mountains with close proximity to Arlington, Manchester, and surrounding hikes and activities. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Unbelievable views

This property delivered! Usually I like to take a break from cooking while on vacation, but once we saw in person the view from the deck, we hit the local farm stand, grilled out and enjoyed the view each night. It was such a relaxing vacation. We hiked numerous trails at the Equinox Preserve with our two dogs followed by the hot tub! We really enjoyed visiting Hildene and learning the history about President Lincoln’s only child to reach adulthood. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, viewing the house with most its original furnishings and seeing a Pullman Car. We also drove the Skyline Drive to the Summit of Mount Equinox. More incredible views. Returning each day to Mountain Nest was just perfect. It is a very comfortable and tastefully furnished house and well-maintained. It is one of our favorite properties that we have rented through VRBO.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Nest near Manchester. Comfortable and clean, the house was just what we wanted. We were at a wedding just 10 minutes away at the Hildene so it was very convenient for us. A great view of the mountains plus a hot tub. We could not have asked for more.

Fantastic Rental

One of the nicest VRBO’s we have ever rented. Beautiful view off the back deck overlooking the mountains. Extremely comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a quick ride over to Manchester for shopping and many dinner options. The owners were great and thought of everything, great place to stay with our 2 small dogs and teenaged daughter.

Million dollar views


We were looking for a quick getaway to Vermont and this gorgeous home was perfect! The views are every bit as spectacular as the photos. The home is clean and modern with stunning views of the mountains from the kitchen, living room, and back deck. The living room is large and comfortable for gathering. The adjoining kitchen is clean, modern, and has everything you need to cook a meal or just prepare a quick snack. There are dishes and cooking supplies available, which made meal prep a breeze. There was plenty of space for us to gather at the large dining area table for meals and to play games. The bathrooms are modern and comfortably appointed.There is a large grassy area out back to roam around in or toss a football. The home is conveniently located only a few minutes from Manchester, so there is plenty available in terms of shopping and dining. We had great pizza and Tex Mex right in town. We also drove through many of the nearby quaint villages, and had plenty of dining and shopping options. If you are looking for a perfect getaway to the Vermont mountains with fresh air and gorgeous views with shopping and dining within minutes, do not hesitate. We are already planning on our next visit!

Mountain Nest Sunderland Vermont

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Nest house. The house was exactly as the pictures depict. It was the cleanest, most well maintained house that we have rented. Kitchen was well stocked and all pans, dishes, utensils were like new. The views are amazing! The area is very scenic. Hot tub was wonderful and again, very clean. Beds were comfortable and bedding was very high end. Plenty of towels. Room for little ones to run around in the backyard. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great house, well stocked kitchen

Great house in VT for a relaxing trip with friends. The kitchen has a lot of tools including a range of pans and hand tools, definitely one of the better stocked kitchens. Only thing that was a "con" was the stairs going to the upper level in the house. They are incredibly slippery and have a warp that causes them to have a down slope. Multiple people in our group slipped and fell on these. I think with young kids it could get dangerous.

Lovely home!

The house was fantastic, it truly brought the real feeling of Vermont out - cozy and relaxed. Not only did it provide the Vermont feeling out, but it also had many additional features such as the hot tub and also the fantastic unexpected sledding hill. Overall, the house was a great stay and I would definitely recom/mend this house.
