We stayed for a week in March in a 3rd floor apartment.We arrived early so Used the luggage lockers (2 euros) to store our bags and were able to use the facilities until check in. Really lovely helpful lady in reception. The pool is massive, saltwater and fantastic. Pool area very clean, loads of loungers, never busy with well kept toilets and a nice bar and snacks bar.

Well, the hotel isn't exactly horrible—especially since it has just been renovated—but it suffers from major structural issues regarding sewage disposal. The "ocean views" are misleading, as they are seen from the rear balcony and are located more than 500 feet away. The cleanliness is relatively good; however, the rooms lack air conditioning, and you are forced to rent fans. The staff appears competent but comes across as rather unexpressive.

There is no cleaning if you are staying less than 5 days. Swimming pool is huge and filled with Atlantic water, early morning water pumping into the pool to top it up, once a week the pool is emptied cleaned and filled with fresh ocean water, huge advantage compare with the majority of other hotels with chlorine water. Food is not impressive at all. You won’t be hungry there is plenty of vegetables but almost no meat. I’ve chosen this hotel only because of its pool with Atlantic Ocean water.

We had great time at Ona Alborada. We must to thank the whole staff, in particular Vanessa, Giorgia, Carlos and Carlos the Reception Manager for being looking after us. Special thanks to the breakfast staff as fot being the holy Easter week, they have been over any expectation. They were all and above , massive queue every morning outside but very smooth going through...the lady welcoming us at the breakfast was just amazing and was also everywhere during breakfast time. The whole staff i have to say very attentive and professional at the top level. For an easy place like that they would deserve 10 stars, not only 5. To everyone, a massive thank you for making our short holiday break memorable!!! Pretty sure we will see you soon again!!!
