After a very disappointing start with a delay of almost 3 hours to gain entry and having been given the wrong address (having to go via a construction site) we eventually entered the barn with the host still preparing the premises. Judy was very friendly and apologetic but by this time it had started to rain and the weather was miserable and we just wanted to get settled. We left Judy preparing the barn and went out for provisions. We had originally planned to go out for a meal but it was now too late. It took awhile to settle in and get cosy. Once as we were settled it was a lovely comfortable stay. The barn has a lot of quirky touches and charm. Very cosy and warm when the fire was lit.
We stayed here for 3 nights whilst skiing at Coronet Peak. The location is great, the accommodation was very comfortable and the unique style really added to our experience. Judy was a perfect host and we would definitely stay again when in Queenstown.
We all had an amazing time in the barn. The bathrooms heated floor is perfect and matched with amazing water pressure and the fire kept us warm throughout our stay.
