The room was beautifully decorated and clean. I especially liked how sound proof they were as we couldn’t hear any outside noises. The hotel is extremely close to all the ancient ruins, fine dining and shopping. Anna was amazing in helping to secure all our transportation needs. I would highly recommend a stay here and I would definitely like to do so the next time I have a chance.

Great stay

First time in Athens in 8-9 years and first time staying in Koukaki although familiar with the area. Room was great, loved the wide balcony, shower very good, bedding excellent and very convenient location for sightseeing but also for going around Athens using the metro or the bus network. Will stay there again and will definitely choose again a room with balcony

The staff are friendly. We had everything we needed. However, the hotel reception is not manned during the night. While we were in Athens, there was a bomb explosion near the train line. We heard it in our room. At this time there wasn't any staff members to contact in the hotel. There is an emergency number but if we need emergency evacuation then a mobile number is not really useful.

Overall the place is nice and clean, in a great location, and with a very good shower. But there were a few very peculiar things: - We got the room on the 3rd floor, which is the only one on that floor, and the lift just opens straight into the room, no door. It's incredibly bizarre and feels unsafe (for example, if we were to call the elevator right after another guests enters it on the 2nd floor, they would end up right in our room). - There's no "do not disturb" sign or any way to tell them not to come in. Our first morning we were woken up by the cleaner. One day when we were leaving and I asked the receptionist to not come up today, she said she would have to pass through our room to get to something? - They have the usual signs claiming to be eco-friendly and to only clean and change towels every 3 days or upon request, but they still cleaned and changed towels almost every day, even when we explicitly asked them not to. - Our first night there was a power outage at 3am, which led to our room being flooded with light from the emergency light which is inside the room - there was no way to turn it off so we couldn't sleep for several hours. When I talked to them the following morning their solution was to put tape over the light, but there was only a half-hearted "sorry" (most places would at least offer some token compensation after something like that)
