Truly a five star experience. All staff from reception desk to restaurant were very welcoming and helpful. An absolute delight. Just to mention a few - Pascalis, Edvin, Adonis, Charles, and quite frankly all the staff we came in contact with, went above and beyond. Its just a pity i can't recall all their names. The gentleman in the restaurant on Februrary 16th night, made us feel so welcome and at home. It was unexpected and such a genuine gesture. Room has all you need including complimentary drinks, water, wine. What's not to like? Complimentary robes and slippers, tooth brush and paste. Rooms and toilets exceptionally clean. Breakfast options quite varied and of high quality. You will definitely find lots to eat. The Athenuem hotel is a touch of class and the staff are truly special. I will highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you guys for making our stay beautiful 😍

Amazing staff

This hotel is fabulous-new, clean and in a great location. The staff is amazing-gave us advice about things we wanted to do, got our taxis and and were the most helpful hotel staff ever. Always smiling. I stayed there 1 night before a cruise-I had picked it because of location-we knew we were coming back to Athens for 2 days after cruise and because of the staff, i booked back in there. Unreal breakfast-everything you could imagine, not like a tepid continental breakfast. We were there over Valentines Day and they put roses, chocolates and balloons in the room & had fun doing it. There are other Atheneum’s in Athens but I would go back to this location every time.

I had to change rooms because the bathroom was so small I couldn’t sit on the toilet and close the door. Breakfast was great with great service. After I complained about the bathroom, the staff moved me to another room. Respect!

Fantastic value and great stay!

*Request a room at the back of the hotel - the road noise is extremely loud!* We stayed for 4-nights, and after requesting a room move (due to road noise) after the first night, our stay was 5-stars! The hotel is well positioned in Athens so that every attraction is very close by. The hotel itself is modern, and the reception is beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Our room was modern and well furnished, and the cleaning staff are friendly and professional - the room was spotless every day! The breakfast is amazing with every dish you can think of - and the view of the Acropolis from the dining/breakfast room is breathtaking! However, do not restrict yourself to just eating breakfast, we can highly recommend enjoying an evening meal there also!

It was perfect for short stay. Walking distance to almost everything. The staff was amazing. The only problem was the location is right on one of the busiest intersection so you hear the traffic almost 24/7 but for the price it was very good deal and the breakfast was excellent.

Great location, super comfy, staff amazing

We had a 5 day trip to Athens. The hotel was in a great location, walkable to most sights and areas we wanted to see. The hotel was spotless, the staff were amazing and best of all the bed, pillows and bedding was the extremely comfortable. The breakfast was also good with many options and great coffee. We would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel with good size room we stayed in Junior suite. Buffet Breakfast is very good quality and delicious. But it is same items everyday. It would be nice to change up the breakfast items for ex: potatoes make differently, eggs made differently like French toast..overall we enjoyed staying at the hotel staff and service excellent..

We loved our stay in Athens and this hotel, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our first room was small but we paid for an upgrade and the room was great, hotel is very clean and updated and they supply complementary drinks and wine. It was very convenient that they offer luggage storage (small charge for it) so we didn’t have to bring all our luggage while going to the islands. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning, it was great. Location was convenient, very walkable and close to major attractions.
