Huge yard for games, large fire pit for Smores and relaxing after a day of exploring all the Lake George area has to offer. We have many return guest each year that truly appreciate all the space , beautiful homes and surroundings at Moose Mountain Lodge as well as its location, nestled in the woods with plenty of peace and quiet to recharge . ***The use of both homes and cottages are dependent on the amount of people in your group .** The rate increases with group size for use of additional home and or cottages. The base rate is set for the main house for smaller group size of 16 guest or less, additional guest determine the amount of homes or cottages for your group size, please ask if you have any questions before you book to ensure Moose is a good fit for your group. Both homes and cottages can be rented for smaller groups that wish to have use of second home and or cottages , kindly ask for rates for use of all buildings should you wish to have them .The property in its entirety is for your use only during your stay, no matter your group size, smaller or larger. Please note SUMMER SEASON for large groups only. The cottage and Guest cottage are closed October-May. The Main House sleeps 16 and is open year round , during the winter the Bunk House is opened only for larger groups . ** Kindly enter correct guest amount when booking Moose to ensure correct amount of homes, cottages to accommodate your group size. Moose can accommodate smaller groups of 16 and under which is use of the Main House only . The rate is based on how many guests are in your group. We expect honesty in reservations with guest amount. (Max 32 )

We welcome wedding guest as well as smaller groups and consider long term renters for any season. A Perfect get away for Gore Mountain Ski Center and Hickory Ski center . Moose is Located approximately 14 miles from the center of Lake George , Gore Mountain Ski Center and 5 minutes from Hickory Ski Center.
Historic Moose Mountain is located in upstate New York in the Adirondack Mountains. Moose Mt currently accommodates up to 32 guest during the summer season. There is also a private space for full RV hook up, please inquire for separate fee.
The property is exclusively yours during your stay. The Main House, second home aka: Bunk House and Guest Cottage's invite you here for your peaceful Adirondack vacation in the Mountains of the Lake George Area.

* Large Main House sleeps 16 with 7 bedrooms, (7 Queen beds & 2 twin beds) five bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs each with a queen and twin. The main house has 3 full bathrooms. Large kitchen, large buffet serving counter & 2 dining rooms.
* The Bunk House (second house) Sleeps 11 guest. 2 bedrooms on the main floor each of these rooms have queen beds . Bunkroom upstairs loft bedroom sleeps 7 with 3 twins, 2 queen beds, full kitchen. 1 bathroom. ( kindly note the stairs leading to the loft bedroom are not for mobility challenged, they are steep steps to loft bedroom )
* Larger Guest Cabin sleeps 4, one queen bed in bedroom and 2 on queen pull out couch in living room, full kitchen, 1 bathroom / shower & 2 screened porches.
* The smallest guest house/ summer cottage sleeps 3 with a Queen bed w/ twin bunk bed over top, one bathroom/ and is only open during the summer & early fall, this is a sleeping cabin with shower , toilet and sink .

Moose is 15 - 20 minutes from the village of Lake George, 10 minutes from Warrensburg NY, 20 minutes to Gore Mt Ski Center, 30 minutes to Saratoga. There are many nearby swimming, fishing, hiking & biking areas, restaurants and tourist attractions.
Moose Mt Lodge is a place where time has stood still, reminding us of a quieter, more simplistic time when families traveled to the mountains for fresh air, peace, beauty & tranquility. When most of the old resorts/dude ranches, motel and shops were family run, and the only way into the Adirondacks was by the old routes, before the Northway ( I-87 )

The old resorts were known for gathering around the campfire ,cookouts, horseshoes, tetherball ,checkers, chess, shuffleboard, hikes ,horseback riding , swimming , reading in lounge chairs and gatherings in the dance hall. Moose Mt is geared toward the days of yesterday, updated with the necessary modern amenities ,wireless internet & tv ( Moose has Hi- Speed Internet in all homes )
* A large fire pit area for gathering , large yards for volley ball , games & hiking trails . Privacy and peace in nature abound at Moose Mt.
Lovingly and copiously Restored by its previous owner after years of being left idle ,we are continuing in his footsteps with plans of future restoration of the Rec/ Dance Hall and the 100x150 foot spring fed swimming pool.
This vacation rental is a gem, located in the woods with plenty of privacy and quiet, yet located 10 /35 minutes of all the major attractions in the Lake George/ Gore Mt / Saratoga area (should you choose to leave the property :) ** Please read rental agreement before booking MML.
