Not as pet friendly as it says

Hotel claims to be pet friendly but charge you an additional non refundable pet fee charge of $75.00, and then they complain about your pet barking.

The only thing I didn't like at all was the ridulous pet FEE of $50 a day!!! That will prohibit my stay in the future. I have a small 10 pound well mannered dog. There should be weight size considerations. $50/ DAY IS NOT PET FRIENDLY. THATS HOTEL POCKETBOOK FRIENDLY.

If you have respiratory allergies, stay away. Overwhelming mold and mildew smell in room. My children and I smelled it as soon we opened the door to the room. The room has new furnishings and does look nice in appearance, but you can see where they tried to paint over mold and other damages. I have taken pictures and videos of the cover up. The white clerk at the desk tried to refuse us a room switch, pretending to be sold out. Tried to insult my educational credentials and 19yrs of expertise in the medical field with over 12 of those years as a professional traveler. She lied and said the room smelled like bleach and suggested turning on the A/C to circulate more dust and mold through the air. Absolutely not! I have tried to be as patient as possible. A lot of these buildings need to be checked by Environmental Health for code violations. I’m not buying these 5 star reviews. Save yourself the drama and stay at the Hyatt Place down the road or in the Avalon area.

Convenient hotel with breakfast included consisting of waffles, eggs, sausage or bacon and/or potatoes, cereal, yogurt, apples, breads, oatmeal. In the room there's a mini fridge, microwave, single serve coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Spacious room, hot shower, shampoo and conditioner. Friendly reception. My fiancé did find that there was a funky smell in the room. All in all it is a good deal.

When check in report that tv remote didn't work was treat rude by front desk never the problem was fixed n time to check out housekeeping interrupted my sleep by. 9:30 when check out is at 11am. Customer service needs improvements.
