We booked here in part for the free parking space. We walked to the Aquarium from here. It was a nice walk, but be aware that Atlanta is not located in a flat area. We had more than enough room for the two of us. We would stay here again.
Upon arrival we realized the building looked nothing like the online photos! It looks like a ran down old folks home!! The first condo we booked was so dirty there were stained comforters and sheets on the bed. There was blood on the toilet seat it smelt of old mold It was horrible! We were accommodated and given another room, which wasnât to much better it had an old smell to it, the sheets and comforters were still dirty in the main bedroom which was ok because we were able to switch out the covers from the other room. The towels and washcloths were so dingy they looked like they havenât been changed out in years! We purchased our own to get through the weekend.the stay was uncomfortable to say the least we made it work but we will never come back here again!
The place was good. The only problem was the toilet was constantly running and it was loud. It was hard to ignore especially at night but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
After checking in I decided 2 walk 2 a nearby grocery store as it is noted that everything is within a 15min walking distance, but what isn't mentioned is that you have 2 walk pass a bunch of homeless people to get to everything. On my first day of walking 2 get food & drinks, I had a homeless man that was having an episode follow, curse at, & threaten to attack me for 3mins straight before I found a police car in which he also saw me walking 2 & walked the other way (luckily he did because there was no police in the car) & when I called 911 I was directed to an automated system 2 choose an option instead of being directly connected. That was the worse interaction I had, I had a few more unpleasant encounters of homeless people yelling at me, but nothing as bad as that. As for the property itself, I arrived 2 a bathtub that had not been cleaned & dirty shower curtains. But what was the MOST disappointing thing that is not mentioned in the booking information that was sent after checking in is that I had 2 empty all trash that I had from the trashcans & wash any dishes that were used...not really sure why I was being charged a cleaning fee when I pretty much had to clean up after myself before checking out when I did not arrive 2 a fully clean unit. On my last day of checkout I had no hot water 2 shower with, & the only means of communication is through email so good luck if you need 2 speak 2 the host right away. They also sent an email asking for a 5star rate which was weird
Convenient if youâre in town for meetings downtown
The Landmark Condominiums are Right off the freeway exit, This building was built in the 1960s and looks rough on the outside and the inside. Unit I stayed in looked like photos and has had a lot of upgrades that are not high end but are adequate.
Living room rug was dirty and needed vacuuming but I wasnât there much so not a huge deal. Bathroom was clean and a nice shower head. Unit next door must be a family - I could hear a small Child crying in the early morning but I was up and off to work early so not bothersome. Kitchen worked for me great as I thought take out home every evening.
I wanted something walkable to the convention center and this fulfilled that. Route to convention center is pretty but if traveling alone be alert because at the end of the work day there are a lot of homeless people.
There seemed to be quite a few people staying at this property that were also attending the same trade show. Since I travel alone for work I like that this building is secure and has a concierge and you need a key fob to enter. Hallways are dreary with dirty carpet.
I wouldnât stay downtown if I wasnât there for work - if it was a pleasure trip Iâd stay in Buckhead.
Not provided adequate info on parking situation. Requested an early check in time and never heard back from the owner. Rude staff in property, disappointing views and the kitchen was a literal closet one person barely fit in. For the money I would stay a few miles outside the city at a nicer place
Your apartment was just what we needed for a mother /daughter weekend in Atlanta! The amenities were as described and itâs just a short, straight walk to Mercedes Benz Stadium.
We plan on booking again when we come back to the ATL!
In town for show at Mercedes Benz stadium and this was perfect for avoiding parking and waiting on public transportation (30 minute walk). Also within walking distance of many restaurants and other attractions. This condo has been nicely renovated and the check in was super easy since there is someone at desk 24 hours a day. The listing accurately describes the unit, but do take note that all beds are in same room and that heating/air is centrally controlled and not possible to change. This was not a problem for us, but might be for some. We thought this rental was a great value.
We really enjoyed this apartment. The location is super convenient for walking to Centennial park, taking a short drive to get on the East Beltline and MLK historic sites, and getting on the interstate. The kitchen had all we needed to make breakfasts and other quick meals. We recommend this place.
