The house reminds me of a grandmothers house. It was in great shape but an older house that seems to be filled with love and memories. Had very comforting vibe to it. And the location was perfect.
This is our second year staying in this house and it is perfect. The proximity to everything is great. The beach is right there and the ability to walk to eat and shop is terrific.
The location and the beach one if the beds the box spring was broke and the rest if them were uncomfortable

overall we had a good time
we did love that we had a dining table that we could all sit and eat and we loved the location it was close to everything we wanted we also loved the big front porch hopefully the mattresses will be replaced soon because I would love to stay there again. we loved being close to the beach because my grandson's loved going fishing in the evening
Spent a week with husband, son, and mom celebrating my graduation from University of Cincinnati and move back to NC. Loved everything about the house. Favorite thing might be sitting evenings on the upstairs balcony sipping wine and listening to the ocean.
Cute cottage. Good beach access. Because it is next to public beach access it is convenient but can be a little loud at night. This may not matter as you should be up trying to get comfortable in the mattresses that are way past their prime. If the place got a deep clean and replaced the mattresses I would be staying again.
Nice house, though odd layout. Tiny bathroom and half-bath downstairs where there are 3 bedrooms. Upstairs has large bedrooms and a nice moderate size bathroom. Kitchen is well-equipped, but written instructions would have been nice for the Bosch dishwasher. Good price for the size of the house.
We stayed for five days and celebrated Christmas with our children and grandchildren. We had a wonderful time despite the unseasonable coldness for three of the five days. The dining area was perfect for our group and it made for a nice place for the small Christmas tree that we brought. I loved my bedroom on the second floor where I could go out onto the balcony and see the beach. The cottage is located next to a public beach access, so we used it every day despite the cold. The restaurant, The Crab's Claw, was right across the parking lot and had great seafood. It is an older cottage so there were some drafty areas, but that only made it more charming. We had a memorable Christmas and would do it again.
Great location. Not so good experience or customer service
Internet and TV did not work entire stay. Wanted to watch basketball during March Madness. We were promised somebody was coming to the house to fix the internet/TV issues, but nobody ever showed. The floor in the downstairs front bathroom and laundry area is unstable. It feels like you are going to fall through the floor when stepping out of the shower.
Bullard Cottage has a great location close to the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay. That being said, we had many maintenance issues with the property that took too long to get a response for repair. The after hours number and App chat service were useless. Vacasa was understanding of our issues and compensated us accordingly. Thank you. I understand that this is one of the oldest houses Vacasa manages on AB. Some of the issues were simple preventive maintenance that should keep things running properly like the dryer vent line. I got the impression that there had been prior issues with the freezer and hope that a technician was able to find the root cause. Other problems that are easy to fix would be the door knob that fall off, drapes in porch that donât cover the window, extremely flat pillows, flies and bugs in the house due to improperly sealed doors, and ceiling light that doesnât work. In addition, the online description indicates there is a double bed and 3 twins when in reality it is 4 twins in those 2 rooms. Bigger issues would be the lower level AC canât keep up on hot days and the Refrigerator/Freezer not keeping temperature due to evaporator freeze ups.
Iâve been coming to Atlantic for years. Absolutely love it. This year we booked our house with Vacasa. House is okay but with several issues that make it quite overpriced for the delivery. First issue was the fact itâs in great need of maintenance. I spent the first morning working to get the kids out of the bedroom because the doorknob malfunctioned and would not allow them to get out. Door knobs are original to the mid 20th century. Thatâs fine, but only if theyâre safe and functional. Imagine if there had been a fire⊠Second issue, bugs. Lots of ants. Couldnât leave anything out including fruit or packaged food because it would be swarmed with ants. Fridge went out. It was showing an temp alarm when we arrived but was still chilling. By midweek it wasnât cooling anymore. Office was contacted and they sent out maintenance who basically laid eyes on it and said call back if it continues to not work. Called back that evening to get a guy who said theyâd send someone. They didnât. Called back the next morning finally got a tech mid day. He basically propped the cooling vent open to get some cooling to the fridge. They did bring us one small cooler and 3 bags of ice but by that point most of our food was warm to touch. We lost most of a full fridge of groceries. We may get a small compensation but Iâve not received or had confirmation yet. Overall, love Atlantic Beach. The area is incredible but I cannot in good faith recommend this agency or this cottage in good faith, especially for the price. We are currently looking to book our house for next year and finding great looking places on multiple other sites.
