The property was dirty, and not just old, but the carpets were extremely stained and gross, walls had stains, hard floors and the refrigerator handle were sticky, and there was trash left under the beds and other furniture. After 24 hours we realized that there were issues with the AC, called and were told that someone would come out the next day before noon. Called back at 3:00 pm the next day, said they would send someone out and give us a call when they were on their way. No call, someone showed up but wouldnât come in to inspect the unit because no adults were present, left again. Finally we got temporary AC window units installed, which were an improvement but not ideal, and those stayed for the remained of our trip. The microwave never worked. We contacted management about it and they never responded until the night before check out, when they offered to bring one over (we declined). The primary/king-sized bed is extremely uncomfortable; my husband and I both had a hard time sleeping through the night. We enjoy the amenities at A Place at the Beach but will not be returning to this unit and will avoid working with Vacasa in the future.
