This should be an just average lodge or motel. Overall feeling is simplicity (aka cheap but clean), you can tell that the furnitures are worn everywhere and you can't help asking yourself - why would I stay at a place much worse than my own home? If the price is 40-60 dollars per night, I would be ok, but Expedia charged me about 140(?)!!!

A real dump!

The lodge is very run down, the room was damp and dirty. The TV, refrigerator and microwave did not work. My door did not shut due to dampness and rotting wood. I can't believe this place is open for business. Awful!

Smells like smoke and weed

I booked two rooms for my sisters and I. I was so embarrassed and I am now the joke of the family. We came for a wedding shower. Although clean, the place is run down and the bathroom situation is not optimal. All rooms are different by way of smell and conditions. Smell like smoke. We almost left but the attendants tried to accommodate the best they could. We had to look at a few rooms to find ones acceptable.

We did not stay on the property. We checked-in and upon sight of the room and its surroundings, decided the hotel was unhealthy and below standard of any motel. Regretfully, I was not granted a refund. Pictures on the website are misleading. I was forced to find other accommodations elsewhere at the last minute which was expensive. I am unable to provide photos because I ran out of there asap. The hotel receptionist was laying down asleep on the "reception" area.

Facility is just across the bridge to the island and ocean, plenty of dining options nearby, facility is clean, employees are helpful, bed is comfortable.

My partner and I used Expedia to book one of the Jacuzzi suites from here. Believe it or not, we were really excited about this room. That emerald green jacuzzi with the glass bricks was just too cute... Even if it didn't work, we would have been thrilled just to marvel over it and take some cute pictures with it. We love the aesthetic of glass bricks. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be. Neither was the rest or the shower we were excited for. Expedia says check in is from 4 pm to midnight; but the truth is that this hotel might not check you in at all. We were told that we could not check in because the hotel was fully booked. Now, my partner found that hard to believe because Expedia had several rooms (including 2 of the Jacuzzi rooms like we booked) as available. They also wondered how the hotel was fully booked while there were only 2 cars in the parking besides ours; and one of those vehicles had flat tires. But who knows, perhaps all the guests were out by the time we tried to check in (about 30 minutes before the midnight cutoff). Perhaps the rooms were still listed as available online and could be double booked due to technology malfunctions. I'm not sure the computer at the front desk was working that day. It looked dark the whole time. I can't believe i still want to give to give this place another chance the next time I'm in town. Its just too darn cute.
