Everything was great the bathroom had a faint smell of vomit but I understand it's a cheap hotel what are you going to do. The sheets were clean the bed was comfortable the room was clean the bathroom was clean. The security was ample. You guys are on the right path good job.

We usually enjoy staying at the Showboat as it is decently priced compared to other hotels in the area such as the Hard Rock or Ocean's. This stay was not worth the money we paid, which was almost $500 for one night. None of the electrical outlets in our room worked properly. We also couldn't shower as the shower water did not get hot.

this place is a dump...if you like a lot of noise and being in the south bronx by the beach, this is the place for you...while the rooms were clean, there wasn't much to them...the walls are paper thin, the clientele is loud, obnoxious and inconsiderate...wifi sucks and there is no casino, just an ugly, noisy amusement center for kids...the food choices are terrible and few and far between...in a word, no!

The hotel is very outdated and EXTREMELY DIRTY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND that place for a homeless! Location is good, and the small bakery right in front of the front desk was pretty good. Other than that.. the hotel is falling apart. Some parts of the Rugs and carpet were tapped with duck tape. They havent been vaccumed in years! Bedding and linnes had mascara eyed on it, hair and other strange stains. Really gross.
