Review of Property Management
This trip was so frustrating at every single turn. First of all, I wasn’t able to stay at this house we booked. The day before check in I was notified of a maintenance issue at the house and they’d have to rebook. Except they didn’t have a single house for us to stay at for the entire stay (all of 3 nights) so we had to move locations part way through. During the communication process, they sent an incorrect link to a house we couldn’t actually stay at. They had to call me to walk through the options, and it wasn’t finalized until it was time to check in. When trying to find the second house, the automatic phone system kept hanging up on me and I really struggled to get a hold of anyone to confirm our address. The first house had stains on the carpet in almost every room, and the upstairs bathroom floor was so sticky. The electronic door lock also ran out of battery part way through our stay and could have meant that we were locked out if one member of our group hadn’t already come back. The second house was dirty. It looked like they hadn’t finished cleaning up from the previous stay, including trash on the floor and a dishwasher that was still loaded and dirty. We were not provided any trash bags and we could not locate trash cans outside. There was orange mold in the guest bathroom. There were multiple fire alarms that were missing, with wires hanging out. The floors were so dirty that my white socks turned black after just a short time walking around.
