Staff didn’t quite leave a good impression as they came to tidy the room and did not do a proper job. Dinning restaurant staff started to seeep while we were having our breakfast. Reception lady had a high pitch voice while having a conversation meanwhile staff was vacuuming seeing we were trying to talk to the staff.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Diaboical from start to end. Room reeked of cigarette smoke. Spoke to reception upon arrival who barely acknowledged an issue, the only solution was to open a window, they actually suggested the smell was coming from the split system unit. I’m not sure how that is even acceptable, or possible. Requested another room but they refused to accommodate. Every item of clothing I have for my trip now as a result smells terrible, will now waste 1/2 a day doing laundry. Housekeeping made an attempt to help, but had little to no effect. Management terrible, no follow up whatsoever. Only booked this location due to proximity to the airport which totally backfired and was a total waste of money. Started googling for a room at a hotel nearby, noise issue til well past midnight, loud music, singing etc. So loud they might as well have been in the room with me. 0/10.

Surprisingly good

So this is a cheap hotel for sure, but good at what they do. Fast, efficient service for the inbound or outbound traveller. The place is tidy (I’d probably not go as far as to say clean). It could do with a minor refresh but is surprisingly comfortable. Actually compared to somewhere like SkyCity, it had better service. Only dropped to 4 stars because one of the staff was just a little bit rude/dismissive.

Staff were kind and helpful with both storing of my luggage while I wondered the town and could not book in until 3 (Safe place to leave luggage instead of carrying it all over) and getting the proof to catch the free Yellow bus ride. Behind sink in my room was a bit dirty. Otherwise, all was exactly what I needed in a quiet and safe area to relax at night.

This property is old and in need of repair. The shower floods the bathroom, but the shower itself was good in our room. The beds were comfortable and everything is clean. It’s on.a busy road

Our room was spacious and bed really comfortable. The reception staff were very professional and helpful. We were very grateful to have access to the free shuttle service provided as we had an early morning flight and needed to be picked up at 3am. Would definitely recommend.
