The Vrbo was just as advertised. Excellent in every respect. Can't say enough. You won't be disappointed staying here. And yes it is a Million Dollar View!!
Beautiful and cozy home with an amazing view! We absolutely loved our stay! Cliff and Jenni were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. We enjoyed chatting with them when we arrived a bit early to drop off our bags. Overall an excellent experience!
Construction work next door to the property was extremely noisy. This construction work has been on going for serval months.
The owners had plenty of time to contact me, which I would have appreciated prior to our stay, or offered a reduced rate.
We found sitting on the balcony wasnât possible for breakfast, afternoon sun, or early evening meals the work continued until 6pm on Thursday.
That was the only downside to this accommodation. It was clean, tidy bed was comfortable.
Location was great for us. Easy walk to marina and viaduct area
Can't beat this location - downtown CBD and lively Ponsonby both within few mins drive, or a nice walk. Despite that, the neighborhood is quiet and has an upscale, secure feel to it. The apartment itself was great, just the right size for the 2 of us. Views over the Auckland harbour are incredible, and makes you enjoy cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Hosts were communicative and accommodating - would definitely stay here again if we visit Auckland.
The view was amazing, the apartment had everything we needed, the location was wonderful, and we were able to walk to nearby places. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. I'd gladly stay here again!
Very well equipped property with a super helpful host. We were in the Kawau Suite on the lower level which still had a great view. Quality dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans and a full size refrigerator/freezer. Good wifi/internet
We were just two people in a 2 bedroom suite. There is no dining room table and chairs inside, but counter seating and good seating outside
We enjoyed this home away from home in Auckland. The view from the deck is just as advertised! A great spot for relaxing after a day in the city. We used Uber quite a bit. We could have walked to downtown, but then we would have had little energy left, so we relied on Uber when going downtown. Uber has excellent service in Auckland. Well equipped small kitchen. Small but comfortable living area. The house is in a very residential area but an easy walk to Ponsonby. We recommend this home heartily.
We would live here if we could! Such an amazing location, million dollar views, and everything you need for a lovely romantic stay-including a cat to love on. So many special touches, and thoughtful touches.
Wonderful little bungalow! The view is astounding! The area is really nice, although it is really hilly so not super walkable for us older out of shape people :-) No worried though, Ubers were easy to get and there was much to be explored! The owners generously left us some tastes of NZ and the kitchen had all the seasonings and kitchen stuff you might need It seemed! We didnât not cook though, but enjoyed Uber eats while watching a movie in their comfortable living room! The bed was really comfortable for me and the linens were luxurious. We fell in love with Ruby the kitty! I enjoyed sitting out in the patio watching the bridge lights and birds fly around! So lovely.. we would absolutely stay again! Thank you!!
Great place to stay if you like cats and don't mind the fastidious need to care for the wooden kitchen surfaces. The presence of the cat and the attitude that it could be left outside was strange in a country that has lost so much fauna due to ferral predation.
The view is magnificent which is wonderfully relaxing in any weather.
Storage space for clothes and suitcases is rather constrained.
Would stay at this location again despite the minor issues of cat fur, caring for the cat and space constraints.
This worked really well for us as a base for exploring Auckland and attending pieces of the Women's World Cup (about a 10 minute walk to a bus stop, route goes right by Eden Park). We also appreciated the laundry facilities, kitchen facilities, and provided basic breakfast fixings. The one thing I wish I had better understood going in is that the sleeping area is physically and visually separated from the "lounge" and eating areas, but there is no bedroom door, so earplugs are really important if two occupants are on different sleep schedules.
Our stay was amazing. Loved the location and the house is so great with a spectacular view. Also loved the company of Ruby the cat. Gave her treats and wanted to bring her back to the states.
Cliff&Jenni were so great and easy to contact and respond time was immediate.
My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this quaint house with a million dogs view! Aukland is just amazing and we will definitely stay here again if able. The hosts were responsive and helpful. They gave extra little touches to make it stay special and made us feel welcomed.
This cozy home was a great location to explore Auckland from. The harbour view is wonderful and we were treated a light show on the Auckland Bridge in the evenings. The kitchen was well stocked and had breakfast foods available, much appreciated! We highly recommend this place.
As advertised, it is $1 million view. The unit has all of the amenities that you could possibly want. Excellent location, close to a lot of great things to see.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The unit was clean and appropriately appointed. Ruby the cat was friendly and so cute. The view was great during the day, but even better at night with the lights in the harbor and on the bridge. It was close enough to walk to restaurants both downtown and to the closer eclectic shopping area to the south.
We stayed here in January on our arrival in New Zealand. We liked it so much, we returned in February before flying home to Canada. Refer to comments in our prior review.
My husband and I stayed here for five nights when we first arrived in New Zealand. The house was clean and comfortable, very well-stocked and beautifully decorated. The million dollar view that is advertised is actually priceless. After touring the city, we enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching the harbour activity. At night we were treated to a light show on the bridge. This is in a beautiful neighbourhood and just a pleasant 25 minute walk to the CBD. We will be returning to Auckland for our last three days before we fly home. We are so looking forward to staying here again.
This little bungalow with the million dollar view is a wonderful place to stay in the City of Sails. All the mod-cons plus off street parking make this property a super value in Auckland.
Outstanding View. Great location to shops. However I under estimated the continual noise from motorway. I am used to double glazing and was looking for a quiet weekend.
