Ok but I wouldn’t stay again

Only one elevator was working when we arrived and was not fixed while we were there, the key cards kept deactivating, it was very difficult to get in and out of the parking garage because of the key cards, the food was ok, staff were friendly for the most part, parking is so expensive! It was ok for a couple of nights but I would not stay there again.

Unfortunately, this jewel has lost its sparkle. I've stayed here many times, but this time it just appeared dirty and old. Love the location close to South Congress shops and restaurants. This property definitely needs a facelift.

Friendly staff, rooms very clean. Some of the physical plant a little bit worn or run-down (couch cushions, staircases, parking garage). Breakfast is nice and pretty varied, and staff kept everything supplied and neat. Free afternoon reception a nice plus - drinks are small but can't complain about a free drink. Very convenient to downtown and S. Congress (and the bat bridge) and Barton Springs area.

Phone was not plugged in on arrival. Cords behind were filthy. Cobwebs at console outside the lifts. Only one lift worked for the ENTIRE stay. Missed happy hour by 5min due to the bottle neck at lifts and was told no sorry too late!! Asked at front desk for directions to visitors center and guy looked at me like a deer in headlights. Got directions from another but was wrong because visitor’s center changed locations. Breakfast was average. Crowd seemed rough/ ghetto at times.

Get the Suite!

I have been all around the world and this is my FAVORITE hotel. The happy hour snacks were WELL worth the price. Not to mention the suites. The only downside is the parking is $50 a day. So that was a shock.

Sitting at the base of the S. Congress bridge and on the side of the river closest to shopping, the location couldn't be beat, but the hotel left a lot to be desired. Only one elevator (of 3) worked with no way to access interior stairs from the lobby, house-keeping didn't clean our room until the fourth of a five day stay, our room smelled musty, the pull-out sofa was stained, and the wall-paper was also stained and peeling.

The staff was all very kind and very friendly! It was one of the busiest times of the year and they had 1 of 3 elevators working. We would sometimes have to wait 5+ minutes as elevators stopped at every floor and were packed! Food at the bar/ restaurant was good.

Premium, more like nothing like… Hilton should be.

Room is old, outdated, and in need of basic repair to even the common traveler. From dysfunctional appliances, to rusty doors, and un-caulked molding, this premier suite was just a scam. Room smells like mold or damp basement upon entry, old technology and lack of attention to detail an around the most common areas (bathroom caulk, paint, wood trim). There’s even a device that looks to be a second chill fridge near my daughter room oddly placed in what seems to be a closet that is inoperable. Just an awful experience in the room, out the room was messy and unkept as well. Food items found in the floor of the lobby, elevator buttons inoperable, and once again- outdated for the comparative price. As a Hilton honors member, we expect and deserve more . This was one of my worst experiences as a member and can’t believe the lack of detail, care, and professional presentation put into this property and the coveted ninth floor. Room 908 needs work obviously. I will contact corporate immediately after my stay.
