poor preparation for condition of the water

The property is well appointed, but encountering an overwhelming sulfur smell from hot water use was a brutal start to our stay. The smell was so bad that we avoided showering and had interrupted sleep that first night -- a bad experience to overcome for the rest of the weekend. We thought we would have to move to a hotel as we couldn't fathom our celebratory wedding weekend without hot water.If the solution is to run the faucets for 45 minutes before the water is usable, then that should have happened before we arrived. At the very least, there should have been clear guidance at the property on how to remedy the smell and that the water was safe to use. This unfortunate beginning was overcome by the end of the weekend, but a great beginning would have set us up to enjoy from the start!

Beautiful setting

We loved our family getaway to the ranch. We enjoyed the outdoor games on the backyard with the sunset. We also loved the location being close to bell springs winery and olive oil tasting.

Excellent proptery - great for large groups and families

After a long drive to get to the property we were so glad to find that the house and casita were exactly as listed. There were even "extras" that made our stay a really good one. There was a high chair and a little step to help the toddler reach the sink to wash hands. The playground was used every day and was such a great bonus. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Family Vacay in Dripping Sprigs

The property worked very well for our family. The gathering spaces were perfect, lots of light. Very private. The fenced yard was nice, the road was a nice walking path. The view and the back porch were terrific.

Amazing place to stay

Probably the best vrbo i’ve rented. Kitchen was stocked amazingly, very clean, amazing view. My only issue regards one of the showers having a draining problem. The next morning my friend was showering in 2-3 inches of yesterday’s water. There was also a sulphur/rotten eggs smell every morning in the detached house.

We were blown away by this property. The pics don't do it justice! First entry inside is breathtaking - the views! My family and daughter's friends loved it. They had fun and I got to enjoy the serenity that surrounds this place. The property was spotless throughout and the decor was really nice. I needed this! Highly recommend.

Serene, beautiful setting with amazing hill-top views

We brought my father-in-law out here for a short family vacation to see the total eclipse. We loved how peaceful it was, and you can't beat the hilltop views. The home and guest house were both immaculate. We had a wonderful time!

Tranquil home

We spent our son’s wedding weekend at this beautiful home. It is just as advertised and the pics are accurate. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit because of time and the weather but it was a nice set up. The casita is a great space. My nieces all enjoyed their private escape. When they say gravel driveway they are serious. We rented a small SUV so it wasn’t a problem. The driveway is a bit rugged but take it slow and your car will be fine.

Perfect Location

This house is beautiful and well appointed with a beautiful view. It looks exactly like the photos. Having two elderly parents with us, I loved that this was all one story. There is a well stocked coffee bar and some snacks left for visitors. The management company was very responsive when I called. They answered my call and immediately addressed my schedule adjustment request. Also, the location is perfectly centralized for the wine/hill country attractions and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

Fall Getaway

Beautiful home with stunning views

What a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful with quality design choices and furnishing. From the furniture and decorations to the kitchen cookware and spices, you can tell the owners really put thought into providing nice accomodations for their guests. An incredibly inviting and comfortable space. To top it off, the views of the hill country were stunning! We will absolutely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Baptism weekend in Dripping Springs

Beautiful and relaxing!

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay! The casita was a great spot for my elderly parents to have their own space but also near the action! There were many nice touches throughout the house that made it feel like home. Loved the basket of toys for the kids and especially the stool for them in the bathroom! My boys loved exploring and the treasures they found throughout the property. Would definitely stay again!
