Check-in was seamless and we were wowed by the views and beautiful home. The kitchen lacked some basic essentials: minimal utensils, and no baking sheet or grill pan or mixing bowls.

Beautiful View, but not super clean

This place has a great view of the lake! It really does have the potential to be a spectacular place to crash for the weekend. I still would recommend staying here if the level of cleaning and prep was stepped up. The pool towels and bath towels were set up nicely on each bed and the host was available all weekend and responded relatively quick. The only downsides I encountered were the pool (although said to have been cleaned) had a bunch of sand in it, there was mold on some beer cases that were left in the kitchen cabinets, some rat poop in one of the kitchen drawers, the hottub water level was low when we got there which effected the jets, the smoke detectors were missing ( which we didn’t mind because the smoke from cooking would have set it off probably), the grill outside had a bunch of rust on one of the grates sections, and the fridge was a little dirty upon arrival (nothing terrible though), the outdoor trash bins were still full when we got there so we had to put our trash on the ground next to it. They did leave us a complimentary bag of ice which was nice.

Nice Austin Stay - Minor Issues

The place was as advertised and really well cleaned and prepared for guests. Plenty of room for many cars to park and plenty of beds for people. The pool was supposed to be ready but wasn't, and the property manager never responded to multiple outreach attempts; though they did respond quickly when we asked a question before our stay. All in all, a great place to stay on Lake Travis.

Rough start that got better

We arrived at the property manager hurriedly cleaning the house--which was not clean. After a tough conversation, he admitted he had the house professionally cleaned before the homeowners decided to paint the house (how long before if they had time to paint??). I sympathize with the property manager that there was a miscommunication--and yet it is also his job to make sure the property is ready to go for the customers. After paying multiple thousands of dollars to stay here during Thanksgiving week for a special family reunion, I don't think it is absurd to ask for a clean place to stay. He offered to get the place professionally cleaned the next day, but we still had to sleep in it that night as is. My main issue is that he did not agree that it was reasonable to ask for a discount--which I did not understand was very disappointed by. I will say the property was fun to stay at (though a little run down), and we ended up having a great time playing pickleball and hanging out. Also, the property manager was responsive by message. Unfortunately, I did not think he handled the uncleanliness in a professional or respectful manner, and that will prevent me from recommended this place or this host.

Spectacular reunion

We had a wonderful time at this home for a 30 year friend reunion! There was plenty of space, beds, privacy, and the best part for us was the outdoor patio with the most beautiful view! The home was so quiet, people could sleep and couldn't hear us laughing and having coffee on the porch. We used all the amenities but couldn't find the pickleball equipment (it was in the dining room, lol). We swam during the day and enjoyed the hot tub at night. The place was perfect for us, slightly dated but we didn't mind. The management was so responsive and accommodating as we had several questions. We recommend for your large group!

Traumatized

Upon arrival my sister was meet by a couple that stated they had the property booked for the weekend. She was questioned about how we booked, who we booked through, how long ago we booked & they knew the owner. The lady came & sat on the porch as if she thought my sister was lying. It was just her and my nephew the rest of us hadn't arrived yet. About 15 minutes of the couple's arrival & interrogation of my sister they left. The house was very warm, this is Texas in the summer. When you know guest are arriving, please lower the thermostat. The rest of us arrived at the same time & decided to go outside to swim & cool off after unloading our stuff. Went out around 4:30 pm, at APPROXIMENTLY 6:00pm I get a text from the owner/company of a neighbor complaining about the noise level, extra guest & the "sound of a party" This took me by surprise, the house was booked for 10. It was only 10 of us there, outside swimming, talking, laughing & enjoying each other. No one was overly loud, not to mention it was DURING THE DAY! We were told if another complaint was made, we would be asked to leave without a refund. My family takes this trip EVERY YEAR in memory of our mother that passed away 13 years ago from cancer. After that my anxiety was through the roof. I spent the rest of my time making sure the noise level was low.1st night there, someone beat on the downstairs door as well as tuned the breaker off/on. I notified the owner, no response. The house needs to be updated badly.

Updating Much Needed - 30th Birthday

I booked this house for my fiancé's 30th birthday and wish it was better upkept. It was the only house available so I had to book it regrettably. I read the negative reviews and thought maybe the property management would have taken these into account by the time we arrived, but they did not. Everything said in past reviews were still an issue. There was bath products and soap for our use but no bath towels in the entire house. We had to use pool towels that were in one bedroom downstairs (nothing upstairs). The house says to clean when you are finished, but there are almost no cleaning supplies to be used. There are two ovens, but only one worked. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived, so I asked it to be cleaned and although I was told it was cleaned again that evening, it did not happen. For the price of the house I would ABSOLUTELY look elsewhere. The house is much to expensive for what you get. The views are great and the balcony is awesome. It is unfortunate that the house is not kept up better.

Overall place was nice with incredible views only problem the stoves wasn’t working we had to go downstairs to cook and bring food back upstairs but I made a call and maintenance can right out had a problem with neighbors said the music was to loud but it really wasn’t so didn’t understand that but overall Stay I will recommend to anyone just be super careful on the noise

Expansive, beautiful view of lake, large open well furnished living room, kitchen & patio, great half court basketball court & nice but frigid pool which would have been great if heated, nice but worn hot tub on patio. Beautiful artwork in house. Convenient location to lake. Some cleanliness & bathroom fixture issues on arrival. Broken bathtub faucet was fixed on our second day & burned shower lightbulb replaced then also.The few towels there were old & frayed. Some the bathroom mats were dirty. Nice outdoor grill but hasn’t been cleaned in along time. Much of property in need of repair . Would consider coming back if necessary upgrades made.

There were several issues with the cleanliness of the property. The towels smelled old and should have been washed prior to us staying there. The dishes & utensils were dirty. Garbage disposal didn't work. The pool had a crack in it, so we had to keep a water hose running in it. The bar stools outside were all broken. Probably due to the fact they're inside stools. The grill was dirty & grease trap full. A 2nd propane tank would have helped immensely. Overall better upkeep is needed for this property.
