I was quiet excited to book this apartment for me and my sister to enjoy a family weekend with local family members. However, the stay was just ok, it was a place to sleep, nothing special AT ALL about this property. I think the check in time is far too late, especially for the price I paid. The parking fee should be reduced especially for those taking the expensive apartments. Further, and most annoying of all our apartment (2 bedroom duplex) was SO loud from street noise that I had to sleep with ear plugs. I live in Manhattan and do not need earplugs. I was disappointed with the lack of transparency about the noise. The terrace was completely unusable because of the noise. Lastly, there was an incredibly aggressive and rude employee who clearly needs to learn hospitality 101 who blocked me from entering the garage. This person should be not have a customer facing role. In fact, the employee should not have a role in the company, clearly this is a toxic person who cannot control their emotions. Too bad Placemakr.

It was good.

Staff was great. Layout of unit was cute, but a bit strange for me. Bed up in the loft, but you have to go down cold steel stairs to get to the bathroom. A TV and a ceiling fan would have been good in the loft. No soda/vending machines? Huge issue for me.

The room was nice. But the wi-fi wasn't working properly(and was given two to use). The closest elevator was out of service, so had to walk further to get up to my room. There wasn't much dining within safe walking distance. The staff was nice but the text communication they used was unresponsive. Again, the room itself was quite nice.

The room was clean and well-equipped, car parking underground and staff approachable. However and this is no fault of the hotel, there was an awful lot of building work outside because of the new convention centre. One of the construction workers pointed out the car park entrance because it was not well sign posted.

There was a road closure right in front of building that I didn’t know about when booking and only when I checked in they informed me. It’s in a desolate area that felt cut off and I didn’t feel safe walking around. This is not a hotel it is an extended stay and it felt too quiet and isolated. Right next to train tracks so noisy. The room was spacious and arranged like a studio apartment. But it was not cleaned well and the floor was very dirty.

Probably won’t come back.

Room was pretty, but not super clean. We wanted a river view, but it was all loud construction & I mean LOUD(which I know they can’t help much.) But we got there and were instantly charged for parking that we didn’t agree to! I told the lady at the front desk that we had updated our reservation months ago to just 1 night. She refunded me, but it takes days to go back to your card. So better communication could’ve solved that! I also would have appreciated a heads up on parking that was that high! Pool was the reason we stayed here… not super nice like we were hoping. Probably won’t stay here again :( But Austin & San Antonio are a dream, would recommend staying in San Antonio.

Need more work on the cleaning floors we’re dirty looked like need to be mopped. Wasn’t aware of a quit time by 10pm all music everything had to be off . But overall it was a okay hotel

Overall this was a great stay. My only problem is the complete of integrity by Experian. I reduced my stay from 3 days to 2 days and Experian sent me an email with the lower price. Then they told me that I would have to pay the original price. Experian didn’t agree to the new price that they sent to me (I still have the email). Dirty company and I don’ t plan to use them again. Placemakr was fantastic. Experian lacks integrity so please be cautious of them. Dirty.
