There were 2 bathrooms, but both toilets in the 2 bathrooms were not working properly, because the toilet tank were not refilling after a flush, and you can the hear the water running nonstop.

We stayed here for two nights. While the facilities initially appeared acceptable, there was no internet, no hot water, no housekeeping, and no coffee, reportedly due to plumbing issues. When we raised these concerns with the manager, Jacob, at around 7:30 p.m., we were asked if we would like to check out that evening—even though there were no practical alternatives available until the next day’s Catalina Express back to the mainland. We later learned that Catalina Courtyard Suites is an independently operated boutique hotel, not a Marriott-affiliated property as we had assumed. That was a lesson learned on our part. Overall, the lack of basic amenities and the way our concerns were handled made this an unsatisfactory stay. Based on our experience, we would recommend looking elsewhere.

The rooms are so cozy here and there is a wonderful fire pit in the evening in the courtyard. Our room had a huge jacuzzi tub and a great heater in the bathroom. Violet, in the office, was absolutely a delight. She helped us with everything......got us new towels each day......marked up maps of the city.....showed us around the hotel and let us look at another room for a future visit.

The Shower was stained, so we couldn’t use it. The Microwave was broken. No SPA Tub. The Hotel was on a slope. The picture made me think that it wasn’t. Toilet seat was loose difficult to use. Will not stay there again.

Great room! What a view of Avalon! Check in was a breeze and we enjoyed our first visit and stay on Catalina Island! Would return to this hotel again, it was so convenient! And the huge shower heads and toilet seat warmer seats were a nice touch!
